This 1967 Benz 230s is in unrestored original condition. Automatic transmission.  Well preserved.  This car was purchased in 2008 from a local dealer in Western Massachusetts. He was the interim owner prior to me and did some service on the vehicle before I purchased it.  I am the second owner.  All documentation of service since new  is provided as well as the original sales invoice, all booklets and paperwork , even the original mercedes key chain provided by the dealer.  I had the engine rebuilt in the winter of 09/10. The entire carpeting was replaced in 2009.  The original carpeting remains below the new. Floor boards are solid, no rust.   The transmission shifts smoothly. Heat blower and fan work properly.  All the electronic instruments work properly as well as all wiring and lighting.  Power steering is a bit tight but i have never had any problems with it and never addressed it. Passenger side window regulator needs minor repair .  The tires have good tread and are recent.  Perhaps 200 miles on them. This car has been a daily driver since i bought it, Since 2008 I have put 4300 miles on the vehicle. The odometer reads correctly.   The car is garaged in the winter and is never used between October and May.  This car passes MA state inspection yearly.  I have transported the car here to West Palm Beach to sell it since I am no longer summering in Massachusetts.  The body has several small dings that may be unnoticeable in the photographs, they are consistent with usage and age. The rear bumper has two small rust spots that have been covered with chrome plated tape.  A newer dent free, bumper that came with the vehicle but that has never been put on is being included in the auction (if vehicle is being shipped be aware that some transport companies will not move a vehicle with anything in it that is not secured to the vehicle, I cannot be responsible for the separate shipping costs of a heavy bumper .  There is some minor rust spots along the rims of the rear wheels and in the wheel housing. nothing major,( see photos)   i have never gotten around to painting the car and sort of preferred it in its original condition.   The interior is spectacular with the exception of the headliner which is consistent throughout but has some discoloration and dry rot near rear two pillars.  This is a solid running vehicle in above average to very good condition.  Properly cared for and maintained since purchase, i have rarely seen another one in similar condition. Buyer must arrange all shipping details prior to pickup.  I do however have a good contact for shipping up and down the east coast.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
