stunning rare 1993 mazda rx7 R1 , 12800 miles all stock and original , no mods at all , the original engine runs very strong and the transmission shift real nice and smooth . the interior looks even smells brand new and reflects the miles and is almost perfect . the original paint is in an excellent condition and the vehicle was never in any accidents with a clean title, clean carfax and autocheck reports .

the R1 version of the RX7 had the stiffer suspension , dual oil coolers , sunroof delete , swade interior and a bunch of other options that were exculsive to the R1 , so we got this car and we went through it with an extensive check up to make sure there is no problems and insure that it is up to the standards that it should be in. I had this car on the lift and its just like a new car , even the factory grease from a brand new car is still there , all heat shields , all covers, every thing under the carraige of this car still looks brand new

real nice car with very low miles , all stock , which is almost impossible to find with these cars. if you are looking for a real rare R1 , this is the one.

Mazda2 production fires up in Mexico

Mazda has officially kicked off production of the next-generation Mazda2 at the company's new factory in Salamanca, Mexico. Alongside the auto assembly plant, operations have also commenced at the facility's engine machining factory.
"With the start of production of the all-new Mazda2, operations underway at the engine machining plant, and an increase in our annual production capacity, we now have an even stronger production framework capable of supplying global markets with Skyactiv products of the same high quality level as those made in Japan," Mazda de Mexico Vehicle Operation's President Keishi Egawa said in a statement. "At the same time, we are pleased to be able to make a contribution to Mexico's further economic growth."
MMVO joins Mazda's Hofu Plant in Japan and the Auto Alliance factory in Thailand, which commenced Mazda2 production in July and September, respectively.

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency

Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.
