This 2000 Miata SE is in Very Good Condition. The Paint is a 7 or better, interior is a 7.5 or better and mechanically it is an 8 or better. The car has never been wrecked or abused and has been adult driven. There are the usual small stone dings on the front and the spoiler has been over some high curbs and scraped some. the paint is all original with no touch up or repaint. The interior is Tan Leather and has no rips or tears, there is normal wear on the drivers seat bolster. The top is original and has no holes or tears. Everthing on the car works as is should. I just put 4 new tires on this car and had the brakes completely done including rotors. Total cost or this recent work (in the last 60 days) was $1700.00. I also installed a new Battery. This is a great little car and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. The 57 corvette look is vinyl tape and could be easily removed with a hair dryer if you do not like it, and the Grill bars are very easy to remove. This car gets positive comments everywhere and lots of people not real familiar with a real 57 corvette, mistake it for a corvette. I kinda get tired of saying "It is not a corvette, it's a Miata" Great Car. I bought it thinking I could still drive a small low to the ground car, but I was WRONG (I just turned 70) The car comes with a car cover and convertible boot cover. If you have the winning bid, you will be expected to make a $500.00 Paypal deposit immediately after the auction, and Pick the car up in Satsuma, Florida with 7 days of auction end with cash or cashier's check. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.

Mazda Miata celebrates 25 years of rocking our worlds
Mon, 10 Feb 2014For its birthday it hasn't been profiled on 60 Minutes or been to Jay Leno's Garage, doesn't go on a retrospective tour of vintage racetracks or get a special Spyder Zagato edition. That doesn't mean we think any less of the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the roadster with a simplicity that was as enjoyable as it was barely believable when it arrived in 1989. A quarter of a century and three generations later, the Miata remains the go-to roadster when you want easy, balanced and economical thrills.
It grew from a 116-horsepower speedster with a five-speed manual transmission and a curb weight of 2,116 pounds, to a 167-hp go-kart with a five-speed manual coming in at 2,480 pounds (in Sport guise). Along the way it's picked up hundreds of awards, including 14 nods on Car and Driver's "10Best" list, its most recent eight-year streak coming to an end last year, the Guinness Book of World Records title as "Best-Selling Two-Seater Sports Car" and innumerable trophies as weekend racer extraordinaire.
We'll see the fourth generation at next year's Chicago Auto Show, and we're certain to hear more about its 25-year milestone this year. Until that happens, enjoy the images above and the gallery and press release below.
2016 Mazda CX-3 is a 2 cute ute
Tue, 18 Nov 2014One day removed from our latest round of spy photos, Mazda has finally lifted the veil on its 2016 CX-3 crossover, giving us our very first glimpse at the Mazda2-based entry into the rapidly expanding world of subcompact crossovers.
Mazda's KODO design language is once again on display, presenting some increasingly familiar styling touchstones including a five-point grille that integrates neatly with the front headlights to present an almost protruding snout that's both clean and complex. Like previous KODO designs, the CX-3's profile features swoopy character lines that highlight the wheel arches and a higher beltline. Mazda has cleverly chosen to black out the CX-3's D-pillar in favor of a floating roof look, a design decision that adds to the model's fashionable styling. It's the rear of the design that borrows most heavily from the Mazda2, largely in the shape of the headlights and rear hatch.
Globally, under that fashionable sheetmetal sits Mazda's 2.0-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic. Unfortunately, in North America, it looks like we'll only get the automatic. Regardless of gearbox, power can be sent to an optional next-gen all-wheel-drive system that uses the active torque control system found on the Mazda CX-5. Like the Mazda2, front-drive is standard.
2015 Mazda2 spotted on the road
Tue, 15 Apr 2014When Mazda unveiled the Hazumi Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, our excitement for the next Mazda2 increased considerably. The Hazumi looks to retain much of the driving character that makes the current 2 one of the very best cars in its segment while infusing it with more aggressive styling. Of course, when the 2 arrives, it won't look exactly like the Hazumi. That's why these spy photos are so important.
This is our very first look at the next-generation 2, and although the Hazumi influence might be difficult to discern, thanks to the swirly camo, it's still there. The grille shape and the headlights are very similar in shape to the items shown on the concept, while the camouflage disguises the shape of the greenhouse, which looks somewhat like the Hazumi.
What we can't see, though, is under the hood. That's where our spies come in, reporting that a pair of 1.5-liter SkyActiv engines will see action in the tossable 2. The former, which we'll almost certainly see in the US, is a gas-powered mill found in the Euro-spec Mazda3. In the larger 3, it produces 99 horsepower and 111 pound-feet of torque, which is broadly similar to what the current 2's 1.5-liter pumps out. The other engine, a 1.5-liter SkyActiv diesel, probably won't be making the trip, although we'll continue to hope.
