For sale I have an extremely rare car, a 1998 Mitsubishi eclipse GST Spyder. Now if it wasnt hard enough to find a triple black exterior on black interior and black convertable top car, this one has been all wheel drive swapped!!! The only downfall to these convertables was that they did not come in all wheel drive so the previous owner took a perfectly good GSX factory AWD car and swapped ALL suspension components onto this car.. I personally have another AWD GST spyder and this process costed me over $5,000 after all is said and done.

This car starts MINT, runs MINT and drives MINT! I would not hesitate to drive this car across country. There are absolutely zero mechanical issues with the car, no leaks/spills/drops of any sort.

The car is a 5 speed manual transmision and has 150k miles on the body of the car and just over 100k miles on the engine and transmission. The engine and transmission came out of my other gst spyder before I did a 6 bolt swap. I bought the car 110% stock from a 60 year old man, I have receipts and pictures of the purchase of the car with the mileage documented so you can rest assure the motor that went in this car is no junk yard garbage!!

The exterior condition of this car is absolutely flawless. When I say flawless I dont mean a ding here and there, there is NO dings, NO scratches, NO rust, nothing!!! The paint is new and the car is MINT. The interior is in great condition as well with no rips or tears anywhere to be seen.

Feel free to contact me directly at 518 232 0685

Maserati introduces Ghibli to Americans in Super Bowl spot

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles aired three commercials during this year's Super Bowl, and the first spot was given to Maserarti during the first quarter of the big game. The 90-second ad was used by Maserati to introduce its new midsize Ghibli luxury sports sedan to a very captive American audience.
Called Strike, the Ghibli commercial tells the familiar tale of the little guy who waits around for the world's giants to let down their guard. Scroll down to watch the spot yourself and let us know if it lives up to the high bar that Chrysler brands have set for themselves in past Super Bowls.

Leno profiles Pebble Beach-winning 1956 Maserati

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

We enjoy it when Jay Leno and his web show, Jay Leno's Garage, take a look at new, modern cars. When the comedian gets his paws on a proper classic, though, he's at his best. Leno is able to display an impressive breadth of knowledge about even obscure models, and that's no different here, as the winner of its class at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, a 1956 Maserati A6G-2000 Allemano rolls into the garage.
Part of the Maserati A6 family, this A6G is one of just 21 cars produced with coachwork by Carrozzeria Allemano, making it one of the rarer cars to grace Jay Leno's Garage. It's powered by a 2.0-liter inline-six, and, as Leno points out, is far more of a road car than the race-oriented Maseratis of the day.
Scroll down for the latest episode from Jay Leno's Garage on this fully restored 1956 Maserati.

Singapore car salesman jailed for gambling away $280k Maserati deposit

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Kenny Rogers' country classic The Gambler is right about two things: you gotta know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em. A former Maserati salesman in Singapore is learning that lesson about when to step away from the table, after being sentenced to 33 months in prison for allegedly gambling away a customer's deposit of 350,000 Singapore dollars ($280,800).
According to Asia One, Allan Tan Buan Yuen was selling a Maserati in 2011. He told the customer that the car would take six months to arrive and cost 650,000 Singapore dollars ($522,000). While that may sound high, cars in the Asian country are notoriously expensive.
Yuen asked for a deposit of 150,000 Singapore dollars ($120,400), but instead of handing the money to the dealer, he placed the funds in his own account. Apparently, the customer didn't notice, and over the next few months Yuen received an additional 200,000 Singapore dollars ($160,400) towards the car from him. Clearly, this ruse couldn't last forever, though. When the buyer eventually inquired about his Maserati months later, Yuen admitted that he had already gambled away the entire fortune.
