For sale is a 2001 Toyota MR 2 spyder. This is a great sporty little car that is becoming quite rare these days.Car is a lot of fun to drive gets great gas milage and always puts a smile on my face. Anyway car is silver in color with tan top and 2 tone black and tan leather interior. The Toyota currently has 103,657 miles on it and has the 1.8 liter engine. This is a No Reserve auction and will sell to the highest bidder!! Car has couple minor dings one in the passenger side door and other was in the rear quater but nothing that takes away from the car at all (very minimal) All warning lights come and go off like they should. I have taken as many pictures as I can. If there are any questions please ask or look at pictures for further details. Please contact me within 24 hours of sale and deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of auction. Please have funds ready (meaning ask your bank, your wife your kids etc first) Once again this is a No Reserve Auction and WILL sell to the highest bidder. You can fly in and drive back if you wish or I can pick up from the airport if that helps. Thanks for your intrest.
It has many options so let me try to list them all. Factory options include: Convertible, Leather Seats, Carbon fiber trim, In Dash Cd Player, Floormats, Power Windows, Power Locks, Keyless entry with Factory Alarm, Dual Airbags, Billet Pedals and all the Owners Manuals. The MR2 is very relaible and has never gave us any problems what so ever.
Car has factory Toyota alloy 15 inch wheels and tires are in nice shape. Tires all have about 75 percent tread left. Car is rear engine and the front holds the spare wheel etc and the spare has never been used. Car has never been in any accidents nor had any paint work. Also has rear storage behind seats (see picture)
Car is now paid for and we do have a clear clean Florida title in hand for it ready to transfer over, title is in family company name as it was cheaper on insurance. Car really doesn't need anything other than a new home. Engine starts right up as to be expected and transmission and clutch all work fine. Interior is in nice shape and shows well as does the outside. If I have missed anything please look at the pictures for further details or message me. All warning lights come on and go off like they should. We do not smoke. Also like to disclose that this is a used car and should expect normal wear and tear. Pictures show car in current conditon, but do understand peoples opinion on fair/good/excellent condtion etc vary so would recomend prior inspection before bidding.

2014 Maserati Quattroporte revealed in patent drawings
Thu, 12 Jul 2012Curious about what the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte will look like? Recent spy shots of the big Maserati sedan haven't been much help, but now we have this: Three alleged patent drawings found by AutoWeek.nl. Better fire up your imagination, however, as like all European Patent Office images, these sketches have the unique ability to suck the beauty out of even Italian cars. Truth be told, if AutoWeek.nl had told us this was a new Buick, we might have believed them.
That said, we can certainly see the resemblance in the rear to the Maserati GranTurismo, with a similar C-pillar and that little flipped-up spoiler. In the front, too, we imagine the new Quattroporte will resemble its sportier sibling, with the crude lines from these drawings turned into more voluptuous curves through the magic of modern manufacturing.
Rumors say the next-gen sedan will be available with a choice of two engines assembled by Ferrari, either a turbocharged V8 or a supercharged V6. We're likely to see the new Quattroporte in the flesh for the first time at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
Little Red Racing Car Kickstarter project a father/son affair [w/video]
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Tales of fathers and sons, whether told for adults or for children, never go out of style. It's appropriate then that The Little Red Racing Car, a story about a father and son finding and restoring a 1955 Maserati 300S, is such a stylish piece of work.
Author Dwight Knowlton first started working on The Little Red Racing Car when, after his son was born, he "went looking for the perfect Father/Son/Car book" and couldn't find one. Knowlton's artwork in has been influenced heavily by vintage automotive advertising and Grand Prix posters, and has a very clean, art deco vibe as a result.
Of course, TLRRC is still just a work in progress. Knowlton is hoping the Kickstarter community will help to get the ball rolling, and raise $25,000 to the book printed and distributed. The author even has a stretch goal to have the whole shebang made into and animated film - we love big dreams. Follow on below to hear Knowlton's pitch in his own words, or jump over to his Kickstarter page to look further or buy-in.
2014 Maserati Quattroporte goes on a night run
Wed, 02 Jan 2013While it was in development, Maserati rolled out its 2014 Quattroporte for a little testing, but rather than slather the big luxury sedan in gobs of camouflage to protect from it prying eyes, engineers used the cover of darkness to conceal the vehicle's design. Then they made a video about their cleverness and posted it on the Internet. The team spent some time whipping around the Balocco Proving Ground with chief test driver Fabrizio Galvan at the controls to evaluate the sedan's new drivetrain, noise levels and handling in the real world.
We got our hands on the 2014 Quattroporte last month for a first drive ahead of the vehicle's North American debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. You can read our impressions here, but first, take a look at the video below for a new glimpse at the machine's development.
