For sale is my brand new 2013 Maserati GranTurismo Sport.  I bought the car brand new in March of 2013 and have only driven it 580 miles.  The car is in mint condition and has never seen rain.  I am a very anal owner.

The car is a beautiful Grigio Granito (dark gray metallic) exterior with Cuoio (natural tan) interior.

The car is nicely optioned with the following options:

  • Black stitching
  • Trident stitched on the headrests
  • Carpet piping in black
  • Alcantara headliner in black
  • Optional 20" Astro Antracite Wheels
  • Red Brake Calipers

As soon as I took delivery I had the best installer in Atlanta install the clear protective film to the whole front end at a cost of $2K.  The whole hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, a-pillars, mirrors, gas cap, and rockers are protected.

The GranTurismo is true value for money.  It is the only exotic coupe that 4 adults can actually ride in.  It is very civilized with the automatic transmission, but can be transformed into a sports car by simply pressing the sport button.  The Ferrari derived 4.7 liter V8 with 454 horsepower just sounds glorious.

I hate to sell it but I hardly use the car and I don't like any vehicle to sit.  When not in use the car is on a battery tender.

Low Reserve For A Quick Sale.

Please only bid if you have the funds to purchase the vehicle.  Serious inquiries only.

2014 Maserati Ghibli

Italy Passionately Returns To The Sport Sedan Game
In its 99-year history, Maserati has arguably never made a vehicle as important as this all-new Ghibli.
Of course, there have been countless styling breakthroughs, mechanical advances and technical innovations, but no single passenger car has been required to bear the weight of the Italian company like its brand-new sport sedan. If the Ghibli succeeds, Maserati will welcome tens of thousands of new customers and, most importantly, celebrate a rekindled relationship with demanding North American buyers. If the Ghibli fails - well, the truth is, nobody has written an option for failure.

Why Italians are no longer buying supercars

Wed, 08 May 2013

Italy is the wound that continues to drain blood from the body financial of Italian supercar and sports car makers. The wound was opened by the country's various financial police who decided to get serious about superyacht-owning and supercar-driving tax cheats a few years ago, by noting their registrations and checking their incomes. When it was found that a rather high percentage of exotic toy owners had claimed a rather low annual income - certain business owners were found to be declaring less income than their employees - the owners began dumping their cars and prospective buyers declined to buy.
Car and Driver has a piece on how the initiative is hitting the home market the hardest. Lamborghini sold 1,302 cars worldwide in 2010, 1,602 cars in 2011 and 2,083 cars in 2012 - an excellent surge in just two years. In Italy, however, it's all about the ebb: in 2010, the year that Italian police began scouring harbors, Lamborghini sold 96 cars in Italy, the next year it sold 72, last year it sold just 60. The declines for Maserati and Ferrari are even more pronounced.
Head over to CD for the full story and the numbers. What might be most incredible isn't the cause and effect, but where the blame is being placed. A year ago the chairman of Italy's Federauto accused the government of "terrorizing potential clients," this year Luca di Montezemolo says what's happening has created "a hostile environment for luxury goods." Life at the top, it ain't easy.

Maserati rapidly expanding dealer network

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

With the new Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans out on the market, and the new Levante crossover and Alfieri coupe on their way, Maserati is making serious headway towards revitalizing its lineup. Now all it needs in order to reach its ambitious sales targets is to expand the network of dealers where they're to be sold. And according to Maserati chief Harald Wester in speaking to Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, that's exactly what it has in store.
At the end of last year, Maserati had 79 dealerships across the United States. It has already boosted that number to 100 so far this year, but before 2014 is over, it plans to open another 20 to bring the total up to (carry the two, divide by the square-root of Pi)... 120 showrooms.
Globally speaking, Maserati reportedly closed 2012 with around 220-230 dealers around the world, and currently has about 355, but aims to close 2015 with a worldwide network of 450 dealers, representing a doubling of its network in two years' time. Having more than a quarter of those in the US alone is testament to how seriously Maserati takes the American market.
