The 2008 Maserati GranTurismo doesn’t just look stunning, it promises all the

performance, too, powered by the classic Maserati 4.2-liter V8, delivering 405 horsepower

and a widely spread 339 lb-ftOf torque. Top speed is reported to be 178 mph with 0-62

mph expected in 5.2 seconds. The GranTurismo borrows the new ZF 6-speed automatic

transmission first introduced in the Quattroporte that adapts to driving style and driving

conditions and allows the driver to choose from four different operating modes: Auto

Normal, Auto Sport, Low Grip/Auto Ice, and Manual.

I am helping sell this car for my boss and will represent it to the best of my knowledge. Any and all questions should be emailed to me.

This car does have a FLORIDA REBUILT TITLE and can be titled anywhere in the United States and abroad.

From what I know it was a left rear accident that damaged the quarter panel. The car has been repaired and inspected by the State of Florida. We have repainted the vehicle around 6 months ago to a medium silver metallic versus its original charcoal gray metallic.

It does have it's fair share of flaws but is a great running and driving vehicle.

Here are the things that I know need to be addressed or have been replaced:

- Suspension Control Module needs to be replaced

- Suspension Bushings need to be replaced not so much for excess wear but they are starting to creak which is very common on a Granturismo for this year and mileage. Usually you only hear it a few times when you first start driving and then it will go away as it warms up

- The interior has a lot knicks in the leather from people putting luggage in the car and rubbing up on or crawling across in the back seat. These can be seen in the pics.

- The front grilles are not factory but look fine.

- It has almost new tires all the way around.

- There are a couple chips which are pictured.

- Recently put a new battery in it.

- Tire Pressure Sensors need to be changed

Its a really nice car that you can enjoy driving without worrying about where you have to park it. Just get in and go. And it only needs a minimal amount of money put into it to get it perfect.

I have taken a lot of pics but unfortunately because of a change in ownership of the company do not have the original crash photos. Please look at all of these pictures in detail as they tell the story.

We will not consider any financing or trades at this time.

This is a PRIVATE OWNER sale.

Maserati Ghibli pricing announced for UK

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Maserati's newest car, Ghibli, is a stunningly well-proportioned luxury sedan mixing the styling of the larger Quattroporte sedan and the GranTurismo coupe. We found it plenty good to in our First Drive review, and now we know how much it will cost (in the UK, at least).
Ghibli pricing announced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is for customers in the UK, but based on current exchange rates and prices of other Maseratis sold here in the US, we can estimate its MSRP for our market. The base Ghibli, with a twin-turbocharged V6 making 325 horsepower, will cost 52,275 pounds for the Bits, making $75,000 a good guess for American buyers. If that number holds true, however, the Ghibli would be in a price category above its main competition from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Take a step up to the Ghibli S, sporting a naturally aspirated V8 producing 404 hp, and you'll have to fork out 63,415 pounds or an estimated $91,000 here.
Just for kicks, the Europe-only Ghibli Diesel, which makes 270 hp and 420 pound-feet of torque with its diesel V6, is the least-expensive Maserati 48,830 pounds. Running an estimated $70k for us, we'd really like to have that one, too. After all, the sparkplug-less engine is the same one found in the Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel.

Maserati calling in new Quattroporte for electrical issue

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

Exotic automobiles are just that: exotic. As in, rare. While Maserati is trying is darnedest to emerge from the fringes, its products are still less common than competitors from Germany, Japan or even the UK. Which is probably - more so than any superior quality or safety standards - why we rarely see the Trident marque's products the subject of a recall. Although it does happen upon occasion.
Back in the spring, Maserati had to call in over seven thousand examples of the Quattroporte, GranTurismo and Alfa 8C over rust issues. Now that the new Quattroporte is upon us, the Modenese automaker has apparently run into another small problem.
This time the issue revolves around the wiring harness for the alternator/starter motor, an improper crimp in which could cause the battery cable to short and start a fire. As a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is prompting 63 owners of the 2014 Quattroporte GTS V8 to bring their cars in to their local Maserati dealer to have the wiring harness replaced.

This Decepticon-themed Maserati ticketed for imitating a police car

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

States have different laws about how closely your car can mimic the look of a police car, which this Massachusetts driver might've wanted to have look into. Even though he's driving a Maserati GranTurismo in homage to the Transformer Barricade and it reads "Decepticons" and "To punish and enslave" on the sides - in two places - and a Twitter hashtag for #Halomafia, the police in Braintree, MA, didn't like it.
Watch out now, Decepticons are patrolling Quincy Shore Drive! #quincytweets #quincyma pic.twitter.com/gXMerDS0FS
