Desirable, Southern California Garaged 1973 Mk III MG Midget

Receipts are available for most parts described below. Restoration was completed in 2002, regular maintenance since. Vehicle is ready to drive off!

Body - Vehicle was repainted in 2002, still shines and shows very well. No rust. Small chips/scratches in paint on front fenders from hood (see pictures). Body is free of dents. Pictures of repainting process provided.

Engine - Runs strong, no mechanical issues. Fuel pump replaced 2002. Carburetors recently cleaned. Spark plugs and HT leads replaced 2012. Water pump replaced in 2012, receipts provided for parts and labor. Ignition coil replaced 2013. Oil and filter changed just prior to listing.

Transmission - Shifts well, no issues.

Brakes - Pads and shoes replaced, plenty of life left. Brake lines flushed in 2012.

Electrical - All external lights are functioning: Headlights (hi and low), turn signals, brake lights, reverse, license plate. Horn replaced in 2013. Interior dash gauges light as well.

Interior - Upholstery replaced in 2002, in very good condition. 3-point seat belts. Carpet in good condition.

Gauges - All gauges functioning.

Wheels/tires - Very good condition.

Glass - Good condition, minor pitting as expected. Rearview mirror in good condition as well.

Top - New vinyl convertible top installed 2012.

Extras included at buyer's discretion (shipping may be extra): Tops - In addition to the currently attached vinyl convertible top, included is a tonneau cover, rollover bar frame in good condition, as well as a MG hard top in generally poor condition (needs new rubber and windows). Also included are various parts (taillights, gauges, wiring, etc.), spare tire, jack, service manuals, book of receipts/photos, and original advertisement brochures.

1973 vehicles do not require a SMOG check in California.
