This MG was never intended to be a "Trailer Queen", but instead a comfortable "Driver", and I think I have come a long way to making this a reality.

My history with this car goes back decades, and the LBC is a combination of a 1964 unibody with a 1969 engine equipped with a late model MG overdrive transmission.

I will not attempt to address EVERYTHING that was done to the B in my many years of restoring and modifying, but it was all done with authenticity and quality in the forefront of my efforts. And you may want to do some things differently once it is yours, but that is up to you.

What's been done;

Engine Rebuild:
1800 cc 1969 MGB 5 main bearing engine
New Water pump, fan and pulley
Slight bore, with new rings and bearings throughout
New high pressure oil pump and 13 row oil cooler
Rebuilt head with hardened valve seats
Jet-coated specialty exhaust manifold that significantly reduces heat
Monza type exhaust/muffler
Rebuilt SU carbs and linkage
New Radiator
New gasket and seals as expected

Transmission and Drivetrain:
4 Speed LH type MG Overdrive transmission, which engages in both 3rd and 4th gear
Heavy duty pressure plate and racing clutch with actual bearing in release bearing
Disc wheels and differential replaced with MG differential and wire wheels
Retains standard Disc fronts and drum rear brakes
Speedometer inoperative
5 matching tires (including spare) with less than 3000 miles
Interior:
Steel Dash with functioning locking glove box
Water temp/oil pressure gauge functioning
Tach rebuilt/converted to electronic to function with newer engine
New floor pans
Seats ('69 model year) rebuilt with new foam cushion/webbing
Tan vinyl material with black piping
Plastic interior door/window/pull handles replaced with earlier MG metal versions
Later model MG fold down Convertible top and frame with zip down window
Converted twin 6 volt to single 12 volt electrical, behind seats with dual access cover and storage

Body:
Front Quarter panels replaced
Hood replaced
Dog leg panels replaced
No filler in the entire body, with the only exception being to cover the holes used for the chrome side trim which I chose not to use
Minor scape near left headlight and usual rock chips. Paint is almost 10 years old

Overall Conclusion:
If I were to be keeping this MG for the next 5 years, I would continue the improvements in the follow ways;

Rebuild the speedometer
Replace the transmission shifter cover to better accommodate the slightly longer overdrive transmission (included with purchase, and custom made for that purpose)
Repaint and continually improve fit and finish
Install the door caps to finish the interior (reupholstered and included with purchase)

I have tried to include the most important features and distractions of this particular "Little British Car", but there are undoubtably some questions that you may have about her, if you are a serious potential buyer, which I hope you are.
Naturally I will answer any and all of your questions, and I do have a lot to tell you about this car, and MG's in general, as I have driven them for about 40 years. This car is a reflection of my of my love of the marque in general, and this car in particular.
I have set my reserve far below what I have invested, and far less than you would expect to pay for an MG in similar condition with similar attributes.
I have little time to spend with her now, and she needs to be driven and enjoyed. The is a lot, of both driving and enjoyment, in this particular B. You will be glad you got it.

E-mail with questions and I will either address them through my reply, or gladly give you my phone number and additional photos.
Although located in Idaho, I have a trailer and could possibly assist in transportation or shipping, if agreement can be reached on costs.

Thanks for looking and good luck
