Overdrive works well if you leave your hand on the stick. I haven't had time to check the sensor but I did drive it down the keys fine with the overdrive on. I've only had it a few months but can tell this former California car was garage kept most of its life. Frame, underbody and footwells are rock solid. Paint has a few chips and normal wear for an older car. All exterior lights work as do the thermo fans. RPM gauge sticks once in a while but with a rev or two functions normally."

This car is a real head turner and i get compliments or conversations all the time! This car is for a true MG lover....the "LE" is the last model year produced and as you can see from the pics it was manufactured 11/79. The last few pictures are after I received it off the car carrier, I think the dust helps show the lines as well but then I gave her a bath and the last pic should be sitting proud on my driveway. Although every time I edit this listing the pictures get shuffled around.

After back to back knee surgeries I've realized it needs a good home with a garage and someone that appreciates a manual drive car as I do. Especially one of the Brittish classics that I was so fond of growing up.

I've only had it a few months and had it shipped "top rack" from CA. I purchased it from West Coast Classics in Santa Monica. Prior to that this car was at the Palm Springs Exotic car auction and near San Bernardino where it is very dry.

It is a very well preserved car that is as close to original as I have ever seen. I met the delivery company at the top of the Keys and drove it down to Key West. What fun it is. it comes with a tonneau cover as well. Title is with USAA and they are great to work with and quick. As this is a classic car, I make no warranties. I did install a new ignition relay as the one that came with it was on its way out. Buyer is responsible for pickup and or shipping and any taxes or fees for their state.
