 1979 MGB with only 73435 original miles, this one owner California rust free example was purchased new 5/19/1979 only few miles from the original owner’s home from Peter Satori Co. in Pasadena Ca. This original MG has all of its original paperwork since new including the original sales receipt, original Pink certificate of title from California, full service documentation and still retains its original Blue and Yellow California License plates. You would be hard pressed to find a more original, well documented 79 than this car.

Finished in its original paint of Inca Yellow the exterior of the car has no major damage, it has never been painted, and it has no rust issues. The paint has excellent shine and depth, there are a few chips to the passenger and driver’s door that happened from years of ownership, the original black pin stripes have a few areas where it has lifted, a very small dent on the driver side rear lower quarter panel that The paintles dent removal company could remove, The rear trunk also has a little palm print from someone not closing the rear trunk correct, all the glass is original and in very fine condition, the top is in excellent condition for both appearance and fit, the rear window is also in the same great condition, there is a boot cover that stores in the trunk when the top is up and a full tonea cover. The factory wheels are not marked or blemed and the car has very good radial tires. The front and rear rubber bumpers are not heat warped and also in good condition. All exterior trim and bright work is complete and nice.

The black interior is very nice as you can see in the photos, there are no cracks, rips, or soils marks to any of the interior, and the interior is stock with the acceptation of an upgraded Pioneer head unit with Cd. All interior lights, gauges, horn and signals are working properly. The trunk is complete with its jack, spare tire, original tool bag, original Antennae that was replaced with a smaller one in order to be able to properly cover the car in the garage. Two Tonneu covers, some extra parts and an aftermarket service book.

The car runs excellent in all aspects, it is a four speed manual and does have the overdrive, and it starts first turn, no strange noises, no leaks, no smoke, 85 MPH on the highway all day long, no cooling problems. The original wiring for the car has not been chooped, spliced or repaired. The car has been serviced since new from the selling dealer Peter Satori till they changed the franchise to a Porsche-Audi store in 1982. I have the original Passport to service record book that shows every date and mileage of the car from its 1000 mile service to its 25000 miles service stamped (see Photos). An independent MG service garage serviced the car from there forward and there are many records of service that will come with the sale of the car. Some of the most recent items were a complete major service, complete replacement of the original exhaust with a falcon complete exhaust system from England, rebuild of carb and alignment the car has always passed California emissions and there is a record of every smog in the file. We have the original books, all of the sets of keys that were given when purchased new, all paperwork that was when the car was sold even the original Manila folder that has the Stock # Serial number of the car and the engine number and key numbers.
