Up for auction is my 1969 MGB Roadster, with 1800cc engine and overdrive transmission. I’ve had this vehicle for about 4 years, it is a third vehicle, and I have taken it as far as my finances warrant. With a two car garage, I don’t really want to put it outside with the up-coming winter season, so have decided to sell. I have had the drive train out of the vehicle, replacing all gaskets on the motor, and installing an over-drive transmission. The motor runs good, with no smoke nor over condensation from the tailpipe. It runs, shifts, stops and drives good. It has recent paint, with some areas still needing finishing wet sanding to be perfect. This is a amateur metallic paint job, not a professional, but looks real nice and clean. The interior is in good shape, clean with no tears, with good carpeting. The motor has a Mallory dual point distributor, new wires, a Weber carburetor, with a Pierce intake system, and again runs well. I have added a luggage rack, GT rear springs, new side trim, and a-frame bushings. I just replaced the hydraulic clutch master and slave cylinders on vehicle. It had a tube shocks rear conversion, an ANSA exhaust muffler and roll bar added. The wire wheels are painted black to off set the Silver/Grey paint, but could easily be stripped back to factory Silver. The top is in good condition with no rips and the plastic windows presentable. I have always left the top off for the summer when I drove it. There are a few things that need attention as the speedometer doesn’t work, as it needs a longer overdrive cabling, small hole in plastic dash cover and paint needing sanding in some areas. It is not a show car and the shape represents the age of the car. This is a fun little ride that needs to be driven, as I haven’t put any miles on it in the last couple of years.
