Lincoln Town Car Executive Series Adult Driven * Low Miles * Garaged * Pristine* on 2040-cars
O'Fallon, Missouri, United States
Up for Sale is a 2 Owner, adult driven, very clean, very well maintained, 1999 Lincoln Town Car. The car was a daily driver until a new car was bought, the dealer did not want to work with us on a trade in so we decided to keep it and sell it outright. This car is completely loaded with options, it has almost every option except NAV, or back up sensor. The car runs out 100% and has been serviced on or before on all required service items, the car has zero issues, tires are near new. If you are looking for a very nice car that you can jump in and drive anywhere this is probably as nice of a car that you can find for the money. This car spent most of it's life in Florida. It's never seen snow/ice/salt and has been garaged since it was purchased with only 36,000. The interior and exterior are as nice as you will see for a 16 year old car. I would rate this car as a 9/9.5 on a scale of 1-10 for this year. There are a couple of blemishes as you can see in the pictures, it has small scuff on the front bumper, but other than that the car is really nice. The air suspension was just serviced, the car has never been smoked in and the carriage top has no blemishes. The air blows cold and the heated seats are hot. There are no issues with this car and everything works as it should. I just drove the car over 1000 miles with no problem and I know she will drive for thousands of more miles with no issues. I have 100% feed back for a reason and intend to keep it that way. Thanks for looking at my auction and good luck on your purchase. |

Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls
Tue, 04 Nov 2014
Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
Conan O'Brien takes McConaughey's Lincoln ad to its logical conclusion
Thu, 11 Sep 2014We all had to see this coming. Conan O'Brien has released a parody of Matthew McConaughey's new ads for the 2015 Lincoln MKC and remixed them with lines from one of his most critically acclaimed recent roles.
The now much darker commercial probably isn't how Lincoln would prefer the MKC to be marketed, but really in a few of the actual ads, McConaughey already seems moments away from breaking into a full Rustin Cohle from True Detective impression. The cadence and tone of his voice are just so close to that character, especially in the one where he's talking to the bull standing in the middle of the road. It very nearly verges on parody anyway; Conan is just turning all of this up to 11.
It's a little surprising that the writers didn't dig a little deeper into the McConaughey oeuvre for the parody. Maybe McConaughey could have taken the MKC for a party at the Moon Tower from Dazed and Confused. In any case, it's worth a quick watch, so check it out.
Lincoln scales back free maintenance
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Complimentary scheduled maintenance programs have been great tools for luxury automakers to draw in new customers, but some are starting to scale their programs back considerably. According to Automotive News, Lincoln is joining Jaguar and Volvo on the list of automakers reducing the length of time it will be providing free maintenance to its customers.
Lincoln's four-year/50,000-mile maintenance program first kicked off as an incentive in 2010 and became permanent later that year, but starting with the 2014 model year, this will be cut to just two years and 24,000 miles. This could make short-term leases even more appealing for some consumers, but according to Automotive News, some Lincoln dealers are unhappy with the scaling back. The move admittedly comes at an odd time for Lincoln, with parent Ford seemingly working hard to increase consideration among luxury buyers as it looks to reverse the marque's long decline.
