Lincoln: Town Car Executive Sedan 4 Door on 2040-cars
Buffalo, New York, United States
I'm selling a 1997 Lincoln town car green in color with a green vinyl top. This car runs great and has been really well taken care of. It has approx 125,000 miles and will go well over 200,000 miles with reg maintenance. It has the very reliable 4.6 v8 in it. The engine does not burn or leak any oil at this time. Since I've owned it I have always used full synthetic oil and changed it every 3,000 miles. The interior is in very good shape for its age, it's light gray leather interior.
I just put a brand new set of tires on the rear, the front have about 60% tread life. I just put a new fuel filter in it and new belt The rear brakes were just replaced and rear brake lines. The AC works and the heat works. The cars air suspension is intact and works as it should. The cons: E brake needs to fixed does not work. The ball joints are making a little noise, my mechanic put it on the rack and said they will need to be replaced in the near future. The battery is older but still works as it should. There's a small coolant leak, but only few drops here and there. I don't know where it's coming from. This car is driven everyday and has never let me down, I would take it anywhere. I've tried to describe this car as honestly as i can, if you have any other questions about it don't hesitate to call or text me Jay 702 538 6604 Thank you. |

2015 Lincoln Navigator puts on a brave face, offers EcoBoost V6 only
Thu, 23 Jan 2014
Lincoln has finally given its SUV a facelift after seven long years.
Seven years is a long time. For the auto industry, though, seven years is an absolute eternity. Most vehicles receive clean-sheet redesigns within the span of seven years, usually getting a facelift of some sort after year three or four. Not Lincoln.
2015 Lincoln MKC aims to rejuvenate the brand... again
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Ford is slowly but surely attempting to revitalize the Lincoln brand, with the new MKZ sedan pointing the way forward for the Blue Oval's struggling luxury division. Here at the LA Auto Show, Lincoln is showing the next new product that aims to give the brand new life, the 2015 MKC crossover.
The MKC is based on the trusty Ford Escape, but this is far more than just a rebadge job. Lincoln has used completely new sheetmetal here, with the brand's familiar split-wing grille front and center, and a classy, wraparound tailgate with super slim taillamps that span the width of the hatchback. It's one of the better applications of Lincoln's new design language we've seen thus far, and the end result is a taut-looking crossover that is at the same time both modern and luxurious-looking.
Further differentiating itself from the Escape, the MKC packs an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, good for 275 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. (On the base end, Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 240 hp and 270 lb-ft is available.) The MKC also uses a new Continuously Controlled Damping adaptive suspension, and is available with both front- and all-wheel drive.
Lincoln debuts MKC ads starring Matthew McConaughey
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Lincoln is making the decisive commitment that it wants to improve its brand perception going forward. It can't be cheap to hire A-list talent like Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and director Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive, for its new ad campaign for the 2015 MKC crossover, but the company is showing that it's serious about the new vehicle and its future. The first three of these five commercials are just hitting YouTube, and they begin airing on television on September 6.
The Live in Your Moment campaign is all about Lincoln trying to sell not just the MKC to customers but also explain the brand's philosophy. It's one of the oldest luxury automakers around, but hasn't exactly had a glorious history, especially recently. Based on these first ads, we can see that there's a definite focus on philosophizing rather than focusing on the crossover. At times, McConaughey seems just a mustache and a mangled beer can away from reprising his role from True Detective.
The first ad (above) is simply titled Intro and sets the mood and concept for the whole campaign. Bull has McConaughey talking to a longhorn in the middle of a road, and I Just Like It has him explaining his affinity for the brand. Lincoln's full release is available below, and you can view the other ads by flipping through the playlist in the video player above.
