Up for sale is a super nice 2008 Lincoln Navigator that I bought as a theft recovery from an insurance auction.  As you can see from the pic from the auction it had no damage at all.  It was just stolen and recovered.  It is in great shape in every way and everything works perfect.  The interior and exterior are in great shape with nothing major to report at all.  There is nothing bad to say about this SUV.  I have driven this SUV for the past few days and it runs and drives like a dream, smooth and powerful at the same time.  It is loaded with all options: Heated and cooled seats, Navigation, 4x4, Sunroof, Power folding third row, power lift gate, power running boards, Back up camera, 20" factory wheels, Rear entertainment, Rear air, Power folding mirrors, and much more.  I have turned it into a Rebuilt title from a Savlage but have provided a pic of the title so you can see it was marked theft and not wrecked.  I also have an Auto Check Report on it so you can see it was only a theft no wreck history.  This SUV is super nice and super clean for way under book value as a result of the rebuilt title.  Have piece of mind knowing you are getting a Navigator that has never been wrecked for the price of one that has.  Feel free to call or text 270-799-1262 with any questions.  I have it listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

One more Lincoln MKX concept teaser drops before Beijing

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

If the teaser video for Lincoln's launch of a new concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show wasn't enough for you, the company has now released a shadowy new image on its Twitter page. The vehicle may be a concept for the next-generation MKX, and its launch in China is part of the huge rollout to sell the brand's models there.
The latest photo shows off the concept's lighting, including LED running lights and lit sideview mirrors. The sharp edges of the lights give some hints to its shape. However, Other than clearly being a crossover, not much else is known.
The concept's launch supports Lincoln breaking into the Chinese market. It will begin selling the MKZ and MKC there this fall, as well as a midsize luxury SUV. A fullsize luxury sedan and the Navigator will come later. The company will also build luxury showrooms for the models that will look more like high-end hotel lobbies than car dealers. Scroll down to watch the teaser video.

Ford faces class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles without brake override systems

Fri, 29 Mar 2013

A total of 20 Ford customers are suing the automaker in a class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles "vulnerable to unintended acceleration." According to Reuters, the suit names 30 models built between 2002 and 2010 with electronic throttle control systems but without a brake override system. Those include the 2004-2012 F-Series pickups and the 2005-2009 Lincoln Town Car. Adam Levitt, a partner with the law firm of Grant & Eisenhofer says the plaintiffs in the case want "to be compensated for their economic losses by having overpaid for cars that contained defects." Levitt contends that the plaintiffs would not have bought their vehicles or paid less for them had they known there was no brake override system in place.
Ford began installing brake override systems in its vehicles beginning in 2010. In response to the lawsuit, Ford has pointed to research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that indicated that unintended acceleration is mostly caused by driver error, saying in a statement that, "NHTSA's work is far more scientific and trustworthy than work done by personal injury lawyers and their paid experts."
Belville et al v. Ford Motor Co. will be heard in US District Court in the Southern District of West Virginia.
