Take alook at this beautiful 1983 Lincoln Mark VI with only 63444 original miles. The car was originally purchased new in Cincinnati Ohio by a doctor for his wife. It has always been garage kept. The original owners passed away and left the car to thier son, who had no need for it and that is how I came to be the current owner. I have replaced all 4 tires because from sitting the tires had flat spots. I have also replaced all shocks, installed new power antenna mast, and switch. The car came with every available option for the day, including auto dim rear view mirror, factory trailer tow package with dual exhaust, am/fm/cb although the previous owner had removed the cb unit from the trunk and discarded it.It even has the factory garage opener on the sunvisor, although the receiver for the garage door is long gone.All the electronics work as they should including the digital tripminder computer, as well as the auto temp air and heater. The carriage roof is flawless. The only flaw is the patch on the drivers door armrest (see picture). The reason I am selling this beauty is because I have purchased another project Lincon and there is no more room to park all of them. The reserve is very reasonable for this car so bid to win.

Ford issues six recalls covering 101,000 vehicles for multiple issues
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Ford is announcing six separate recalls for a variety of issues affecting a dozen models and a total of 100,610 vehicles in North America. However, according to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, "None of them have caused accidents or injuries." Half of them cover fewer than 1,000 cars.
The largest recall covers 92,022 North American examples (about 83,250 in the US) of some models of the Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Ford Interceptor, Flex and Lincoln MKT from the 2013 and 2014 model years; the 2012-2014 Edge and the 2014 Lincoln MKX. All of them have a potential issue with the halfshaft on the right side that might not be fully seated and could move outward over time. If it shifts too far, the models may no longer be able to drive, and the condition could also allow the vehicles to roll away, even when in Park. Dealers will inspect the shaft to make sure it's seated and will replace the part if necessary.
The next-largest recall covers 5,264 North American examples (4,867 in the US) of the Ford F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis from the 2011-2014 model years. It's possible that an electrical junction box can corrode in areas with salty roads and short circuit. The problem could potentially cause a fire. Dealers will replace the box with an improved design.
Lincoln MKX Concept announces impending launch in China
Sun, 20 Apr 2014Lincoln has finally dropped the details on the MKX Concept after a few days of teasing. Set for a very important global debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, we're going to have to see this conceptualized version of the third-generation MKX in person before we can draw any real conclusions on the effectiveness of its design.
One of the things Lincoln will need to do to succeed is deliver something to customers that's unique to the brand's vehicles, which are exclusively rebadged models from parent company Ford. We're not sure this is going to be distinctive enough.
Unlike its last new vehicle, the Navigator, the work done on the MKX is smooth and refined. The stance of the vehicle, with its 21-inch wheels, is aggressive enough. Viewed from the profile, the overhangs appear rather short, while character lines keep it from looking slabsided. In front, we might be witnessing the cleanest interpretation yet of Lincoln's twin grilles. The headlights are slim and stylish, and we're digging the shape and style of the mirrors, which feature integrated turn signals that outline the mirror cap.
Never mind the naysayers; Lincoln is worth saving
