Runs and drives great. Motor and transmission very strong. FAST car! I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. All power windows and sunroof work great. Heated mirrors work. Heated seats work. A/C is ice cold and climate control works. Rims and tires are in good shape with plenty of thread left. Comes with one key, there is no keyfob/remote. Minor issues are as follows: -will need brakes and rotors soon. Still brakes ok, but at higher speeds you can feel slightly warped rear rotors. -needs new air cabin filter -RPM gage doesn't work -Radio doesn't work -Check engine light is on, the scanner shows code P0161 - bad oxygen sensor. -ABS light is on -Hood struts don't hold up the heavy hood anymore -No floor mats -needs new wiper blade inserts No reserve! Lexus launching new Crafted Line special editions at Pebble Beach
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Over the course of the past 25 years, Lexus has done one heck of a job winding its way into the luxury automobile market previously dominated by the Germans. And now it aims to take another step into the luxury arena with The Crafted Line by Lexus.
Set to debut at Pebble Beach later this month, the Crafted line offers the Storm Trooper treatment with high-contrast white paint and black trim. The interiors are done up in two-tone black and red, and Tumi has done up a special set of luggage to match.
The special edition will be available on the ES350 as well as the F Sport versions of the LS460, GS350, IS250 (in both rear- and all-wheel drive) and RX350 AWD. Each will be limited to around 1,000 examples (give or take, depending on the model), with pricing set to start at around $42,000 for the ES pictured above. Lexus LF-LC Concept goes blue, remains happy
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Until the day when we can see a production version of the Lexus LF-LC Concept, we'll just make do with seeing the sleek two-door in different colors for now. After first showing us the car in a Candy Apple Red color at the Detroit Auto Show, Lexus has brought its LF-LC Blue (in a deep ocean blue) from Down Under to LA.
Aside from the new color, there's nothing new for us to see here. That means we were still ogling over its flowing body lines, impressed by its 500-horsepower hybrid drive system and looking forward to possibly seeing the car go into production.
J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead

Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
