Selling my personal GS400 with 142,000 well maintained miles, however car was hit in the front passenger side, air bags ok, but upper and lower rails are bent so a front clip is required. (if you don’t know what this means ask). Engine cranks and the car drives but because of power steering leak and no coolant only for brief moment. Car has Navigation, 6 CD changer, chrome 17" rims and well kept interior for the year/mileage. Engine is strong and transmission flushed at 100,000 and works great. If you need pictures let me know...I have the title as did not have collision coverage at the time of the accident, car wasn’t being driven that much. I am re-listing the car for the second and last time before I part it out. Right now I would prefer to sell the entire car located in North Tampa; buyer must make arrangements to pick it up at my house. I RESERVE the right to end early as it’s for sale locally too...so if you want it bid to get it, otherwise let’s not waste each other's time. My reserve is at the price the Insurance Company typically gets for this type of a collision on this specific car. I asked them so I know what it’s worth whole. Lexus IS commercial made with Instagram photos
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Facebook was so 2010, so it's no surprise that automakers are taking advantage of newer social media applications for their marketing purposes. Most recently, Lexus invited more than 200 followers on Instagram ("Instagrammers"), along with their smartphones, to make a commercial of the 2014 Lexus IS using hundreds of their photos of the car strung together into a video.
Instagram, taking advantage of smartphone cameras, is an application that allows users to shoot, edit and share photos or video online with friends and strangers alike. Lexus's stop-motion Insta-commercial is unique as far as commercials go, with each photo in the sequence sporting a personal touch thanks to the app's photo editor. But, even more impressive is the ability of social media to bring people together for, and involve them in, a commercial shoot. All of which you can watch below. Lexus LF-NX Concept takes aim at the small crossover herd [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Lexus is drawing crowds with its sharply styled LF-NX Concept, a car that previews a competitor for the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLK (also debuting at Frankfurt) and Audi Q3. We previewed the LF-NX last week, but we've since gotten a bit of in-person time with the compact crossover on the Frankfurt show floor.
There's a lot of show-car tinsel here, but the makings of a production model are fairly visible. That trademark Lexus face, with the separate headlight and running light arrays and an even more extreme version of the "spindle" grille, is present and accounted for. The styling is sliced and carved, like the Lexus IS, although it's difficult to tell if the production model will be quite so extreme in its looks. We'll bet yes.

Lexus GS F coming in 2016 with 500 hp
Sat, 06 Sep 2014The Lexus GS F has been one of those cars that's been rumored and whispered about for years, but has never come to fruition. The last time we spoke of the Lexus-badged BMW M5-killer was in a crop of spy photos, posted one year ago yesterday. So what's behind this latest rekindled round of rumors?
Well, according to Autocar, sources have claimed that the GS F will hit markets in 2016, and that it will make use of a more potent version of the Lexus RC F's 5.0-liter V8 that will sing to the tune of 500 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF will be included, as will a Torsen limited-slip diff. Taken as a whole, the executive sedan should get to 60 in the mid-four-second range and accelerate to a top speed of 170 miles per hour.
Prices in the UK will start at 80,000 pounds ($130,000 at today's rates, but as we know, translating British prices to American prices is an inexact science), and right away, we run into a big issue.
