2004 Ford F-150 Heritage XL Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4.2L
with A.R.E. contractors cap. Truck is being sold As-is, no warranty. Exterior: This truck was used for construction work, so it has the usual scratches and dings you would expect. Rear bumper is pushed in on the RH side (see pic). Bed has rusted area above wheel wells and at lower front on passenger side (also shown in pics). Cab and doors are still in very good condition, all the glass is good. All the doors work on the contractors cap. the rear cap glass needs new struts to hold it in the open position. Interior: Is in overall good condition. Driver seat has tear (see pics). Center console lid is broken. Passenger and rear seats are in good condition, with NO tears. Mechanical: Engine and transmission work as they should. Front brakes have just been replaced. Air conditioning works well as do the power windows and locks. The pinion seal on the rear axle is leaking and also there is some noise coming from the pinion bearings when you accelerate. The local Ford dealership recommended replace seal and pinion bearings, I can have these items replaced for a very reasonable price after the auction if the winning bidder wants. However the trucks goes down the road just fine the way it is. Tires have approx 50% tread remaining. Payment:--------$500 Paypal payment required within 48 hours of auction close. J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Lexus RC 350 F Sport ready to take on Europe's coupes
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Rumbling into the slot between the Lexus RC 350 Sport Coupe and the RC F is this, the RC 350 F Sport. Debuting at the Geneva Motor Show next week, the intergalactic malevolence of that spindle grille is given further aggression with a mesh treatment and 19-inch F Sport mesh wheels in dark metallic. Traditionally, F Sport models have also brandished unique fascias, but the standard RC is so visually aggressive to begin with, it still ought to throw quite a scare into rivals like the BMW 4 Series M Sport.

2015 Lexus NX starts at $34,480*
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Lexus has announced pricing for the 2015 NX crossover lineup, which goes on sale next month.
The NX 200t starts at $34,480, and the all-wheel-drive model adds a $1,400 premium to lift the sticker to $35,880 (*destination charges of $925 are not included in the prices). The 200t uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 235 horsepower, and it's Lexus' first-ever gasoline-fed turbo.
The hybrid version, the 300h, starts at $39,720, and all-wheel drive tacks on $1,590 for a price of $41,310. The hybrid teams a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor to generate 194 hp. Though power dips, Lexus anticipates this version will get a combined 33 miles per gallon with front-wheel drive when the EPA ratings are announced - a considerable leap when compared with the combined 24-mpg estimate for the turbo model.
