I'm selling my 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged. Very clean, head turner. I am the second owner and bought it March of 2012. I'm only selling it because Ive found myself to be in need of a truck. Exterior is pretty clean, a few blemishes that are to be expected with a 2006, but nothing that jumps right out at you. It sits on factory 22" rims, passenger side rims have a few minor scratches from getting to close to curbs, from Land Rover and Durun F-1 tires with excellent tread life left. With the supercharged V-8 it runs like a sports car with the luxury and comfort of an SUV. The interior is very clean as well with just a few wrinkles in the leather, no tears or rips. Driver seat has normal wear, no rips. Satellite radio ready, I just didn't renew the subscription. Built in touch screen navigation. The suspension is air controlled and has three separate settings- entrance/exit (lowered), normal driving mode and off-road (raised). The air suspension also makes the ride very smooth. Two monitors in the front head rests for the back seats with Red/Yellow/White plug ins for different applications. It also has a built in six dvd changer in the back. The sound system is Harmon/Kardon and comes with a factory sub woofer, that makes for great sound quality. The sunroof is very nice for sun shining days to let some light in. Heated front and back seats make cold days much more comfortable, it also features dual climate control settings for the front. The center console doubles as a small refrigerator, and works quite well. Never been wrecked or had any large cosmetic work done. I'm selling this on my brothers account, so if you have any questions, or want more pictures feel free to call or send me a text to 812-677-0900.

Jaguar Land Rover calls in handful of vehicles over suspension bolts
Thu, 24 Apr 2014With most recalls seemingly affecting mass-market vehicles, it'd be all too easy to assume, consciously or otherwise, that higher-end automobiles never face such issues. But the main reason we don't see the NHTSA recalling more luxury automobiles isn't because of their quality, we'd postulate: it's because of their relative scarcity.
Take Jaguar Land Rover, recalls of whose vehicles we only seem to have cause to report about once a year. So if you're figuring they're about due, here you go. The Indian-owned British auto group has just announced two recalls, both regarding suspension components: one affecting Jaguars and another concerning - you guessed it - Land Rovers.
First up we have a recall for 2013 to 2014 model year Jaguar XJ, XF and XK models - a whopping 297 of them - which have been found to have problematic toe links. Separation of the toe link from the rear sub-frame could result in impaired stability and control over the vehicle's direction, so JLR is calling them in to replace the nuts and washers on the rear toe links.
European automakers gear up for Brazilian production
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Brazil is the place to be, apparently. Toyota has been investing in the South American country, as has BMW, which announced a $261 million investment in October 2012, on the heels of an Audi factory announcement in San José Chiapa. The high-end immigration is only set to continue, as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar-Land Rover have both announced plans to set up manufacturing operations there.
Mercedes is the big news here, as its new facility will see the German manufacturer invest 170-million euros for production of its next-generation C-Class and upcoming GLA-Class. "Brazil is an important future market. With our local production we accept the challenge and take on the competition," noted Andreas Renschler, Management Board member for Production and Procurement at Mercedes-Benz Cars and Mercedes-Benz Vans. Production is expected to begin by 2016.
Jaguar-Land Rover, meanwhile, isn't so concrete in its plans. The news of its investment in South America comes from a job posting for a plant quality manager in Brazil that was picked up by the UK's AutoCar. "Portuguese language skills will be definite advantage" for interested candidates, according to the job listing. The want ad follows on the heels of remarks by Jaguar Land Rover's Dr. Ralph Speth, who said there are "very intensive discussions" with Brazil's government. Unlike Mercedes, there's no mention of which vehicles will be produced in South America, although AutoCar thinks the Freelander, sold in the US as the LR2, is a leading contender.
Jaguar Land Rover building new Special Vehicle Operations facility
Sun, 17 Aug 2014It's only been a couple of months since Jaguar Land Rover announced the formation of its new Special Operations division, and we've already seen a number of vehicles to come out of it. But now the British automaker has announced a new facility that will house its elite skunkworks department.
Set to be built at Prologis Park in Ryton, England, on the outskirts of Coventry, the new Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre will encompass dedicated production lines, F1-style flexible workshops, a dedicated paint studio and VIP suite for commissioning bespoke projects. JLR will spend some $33 million on the facility that will be home to 150 specialists - 100 of them being new hires.
The first project which the Special Operations division is working on is the F-Type Project 7, but we've already seen more projects in the pipeline - including the upcoming Range Rover Sport SVR - and you can bet there'll be more. The revival of the Lightweight E-Type also falls under Special Operations, but is undertaken by the Jaguar Heritage department located nearby at Browns Lane.
