This is a very clean example of one of the worlds most luxurious and capable vehicles. This is a two owner vehicle, purchased from Prestige Land Rover in Paramus ,New Jersey off a lease as a certified preowned vehicle with 33,000 miles. It had been 100% dealer serviced and maintained. During routine maintenance shortly after our purchase an issue with the existing engine caused Land Rover to decide to replace it under warranty so the engine in this vehicle was replaced at approximately 40,000 miles and there have been no issues since the new engine was put in. So while the vehicle only has 127,000 miles the engine itself has only about 90,000 miles. The interior of the vehicle is tan leather with blue piping trim, and has the 3rd row rumble seats making it possible to enter and exit the vehicle from the large rear door....no need to fold down the middle seat! The designers of the vehicle truly thought of everything, there are dual sunroofs, dual climate control, heated seats and windshield ( no need to ruin your wiper blades on ice), a cupholder for every seat, individual sound controls for third row passengers, and auxiliary head rests that flip down from the ceiling, even adjustable arm rests on the front captains chairs. Four overhead storage compartments for all travel needs, cassette and 6 CD changer, 10 speaker sound system, heavy duty floor mats, and 2 retractable sun visors for each of the dual sunroofs.
Mechanical: new tires, brake pads, rotors, recent transmission service,tow package with lighting connection, 2 electronic transmission modes- sport and normal, additional differential settings- 4 high, 4 low, and lock for off roading capability. Has steep incline and decline setting. Four wheel disc brakes, 18" wheels, front and rear fog lights. Still has factory high lift jack and tool kit under the hood and rear door. Jaguar Land Rover calls in handful of vehicles over suspension bolts
Thu, 24 Apr 2014With most recalls seemingly affecting mass-market vehicles, it'd be all too easy to assume, consciously or otherwise, that higher-end automobiles never face such issues. But the main reason we don't see the NHTSA recalling more luxury automobiles isn't because of their quality, we'd postulate: it's because of their relative scarcity.
Take Jaguar Land Rover, recalls of whose vehicles we only seem to have cause to report about once a year. So if you're figuring they're about due, here you go. The Indian-owned British auto group has just announced two recalls, both regarding suspension components: one affecting Jaguars and another concerning - you guessed it - Land Rovers.
First up we have a recall for 2013 to 2014 model year Jaguar XJ, XF and XK models - a whopping 297 of them - which have been found to have problematic toe links. Separation of the toe link from the rear sub-frame could result in impaired stability and control over the vehicle's direction, so JLR is calling them in to replace the nuts and washers on the rear toe links.

Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
