I am selling my 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE AWD. It is in excellent running condition with no issues. New tires, new brakes, cold AC, NO OIL LEAKS! I know a lot of them leak oil and I have had this under my carport for several months now and not a drop of oil has spilled. It has black leather interior with the third row fold up seating. I am selling because I bought a new Escalade and need to raise the money by the end of the month. It has a few minor issues that you would expect from any car or truck of this age, there is a small crack in the back step, a few scratches perhaps but nothing noticeable, no dents or dings. The radio was replaced with an after market CD player so the radio controls on the steering wheel do not work with the radio, but is has its own remote and hook ups for ipod or iphone or both simultaneously . It also has satellite radio installed. It has right around 119000 miles give or take a few as I am using it as my daily driver now until I sell it and get my new truck. Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America

Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."

Jaguar Land Rover and Chery investing in Chinese plant

While the European auto market for Jaguar and Land Rover is waning, Chinese car buyers can't get enough of the British marques. To meet that demand, Tata Motors, parent company of Jag and Land Rover, is partnering with Chinese automaker Chery Automobile Co.
The two announced plans to invest $1.75 billion to build a new plant and create a new, China-focused brand. 2014 is the target for completion of the factory. Jaguars and Land Rovers built at the facility will be the first ever produced outside the UK according to the Associated Press. The JV will be called Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Company Ltd.
The announcement comes less than a month after JLR announced it would open a design studio in China. It's not clear from the reports whether the two announcements are part of the same JV or two separate plans.
