This lovely Land Rover is currently in the UK - however we can ship to an East Coast port of your choice (listed below) or to the West Coast, we have done this many times before.

We have shipped well over 150 cars to the US and regularly purchase US cars and ship them to the UK so we have done this all before.

Shipping is very simple and we will arrange for the Land Rover to be shipped to the port you choose, our agents will do all the paperwork this side, all you need to do is collect from the US port and clear through US customs which many of our past customers have done themselves or you can use an agent to do this for you. The only additional costs are import duty which is 2.5% of the vehicle costs (excluding shipping cost) and pay any local State taxes.

You then just register with your local DMV like you do any car.

As all the cars we offer for sale are at least 25 years old and may much older they are free to enter the USA without any modifications so they are clear to go. (California State Smog Law differs with Gasoline cars)

Take a look at our web site and see under sold and you will see some of the cars we have sold either side of the pond in past few years.

Rest assure everyone gets there car and goes on to enjoy it for many years to come - thats why you should buy through us.

The Land Rover For Sale:

A 1987 Land Rover Defender 90

Good clean paint work in a very very dark green with very straight panels

Good panels all really solid and no rust

The chassis and rails are in superb shape there is no rust and i can not see any previous welding either.

Inside all the seats are in good used shape

2 in the front and 2 bench seats in the back

All the dash is as it should be for a 90 of this age

Gearbox is a standard Land Rover 5 speed with transfer box HI AND LOW ratio selectable gears with diff lock

These models are permanent four wheel drive

She drives well all gears change with crunching in between them - brakes are strong and she can cruise at around 55-60 mph

The engine does run but it could do with a good tune up or even just use this truck as a base to fit a diesel engine in

Other engines like the 200 tdi will bolt straight onto this LT77 gearbox

You would need to trailer this from the port do not drive as it has not been tested on a long run

Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.

Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.
The official press release is posted below.

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.
