 - Spedo reset to 0 with new engine.  Chassis has approx 50K on it and the truck has been in storage in AZ before restoration started.

Full detailed paperwork of all work done available per request.  Over 110K into this Defender 130.  If you wanted to make this truck "Showroom"perfect I honestly would respray the truck…  I'll include 4 new white galvanized take off doors if you'd like them.  I'm only selling this truck because I have a fully restored 110 done the same way.  The truck is for sale local and I reserve the right to end the auction early.  A non refundable deposit of 1K due within 24hrs via Paypal or wire and the balance due within 72hrs via wire or cash.  I'd be glad to help you coordinate with a transporter of your choice to make that easier.

Would consider a new 2014/2013 or low mileage Range Rover or Range Rover Sport, LR4 (Black or Grey) plus $$ in trade

Jaguar-Land Rover builds millionth vehicle at Halewood

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Jaguar-Land Rover is not what you'd call a volume automaker by any stretch of the imagination. But in the dozen years since it started manufacturing at its Halewood plant near Liverpool, England, the automaker has already built its millionth vehicle.
The landmark vehicle is a Range Rover Evoque, done up in white with red roof and mirrors, black wheels and a red and black interior. The crossover is set to be donated to Cancer Research UK, which will auction it off next year to help fund its projects in the north-west of the country.
Halewood started manufacturing the Jaguar X-Type in 2001, then went on to assemble the Land Rover LR2 / Freelander 2 before taking on production of the Evoque a year and a half ago. The facility reached the 300,000-unit milestone just last year as production moved to a 24-hour cycle for the first time in either marque's history.

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.

Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.
The official press release is posted below.
