2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster E gear in Balloon White. Runs and drives great. Steals the show everywhere, one of only two LP 640 Roadsters out of the 105 Lamborghini's in the Italian Stampede of August 2013 from Los Angeles to Monterey. V12 engine, 6 speed egear transmission, carbon fiber interior with Italian leather seats. Full touch screen entertainment system. Sold as is where is, no warranty, non refundable deposit and sale. Must go. All pre purchase inspections gladly welcomed before end of auction. Car is a convertible roadster. It has no top (although one can be purchased it cannot be used as it has a warning from Lamborghini not to go over 100 mph with a top on) It does come with the wind deflector for the windshield in carbon fiber, which keeps the wind out of the interior at high speeds. Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is sold out
Mon, 04 Feb 2013Well, that happened quickly. The $441,600 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is, according to reports, already sold out in every market around the world until at least the middle of 2014.
Boasting a 6.5-liter V12 that churns out a heady 690 horsepower, there's little wondering why the cars are so popular. But with its finicky carbon fiber rooflet, $3,700 gas guzzler tax and and an MSRP that sits considerably higher than the hardtop version's price tag, the Aventador Roadster requires a very specific type of buyer. Lamborghini isn't saying how many of the new dropheads have been sold, but we're told hand raisers won't get their keys until mid-summer at the earliest.

Lamborghini CEO says Urus headed to production
Wed, 25 Sep 2013It's only a matter of time before Lamborghini is cleared to start producing the Urus sport utility vehicle, and, according to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, that time is expected to be soon, The Detroit News reports.
"We're going low profile now," Winkelmann says. "I can't tell you much on details now, but when we get close to the launch, we will have more." The CEO reportedly said earlier this year that the Urus would start production in 2017, which was backed up by earlier statements made by parent company Audi's CEO, Rupert Stadler, who told Autocar, "Lamborghini has to do it. Because of the need to dovetail into production cycles, we should see the Urus in 2017."
Lamborghini delayed production of the Urus a year ago due to Europe's economic climate while continuing to develop the SUV. But since then China, one of Lamborghini's largest emerging markets, has exhibited a slowdown of high-end luxury item purchases. Winkelmann now reportedly says the biggest opportunities are in "Japan, the Middle East and especially the US."
Lamborghini Veneno leaks ahead of Geneva
Sun, 03 Mar 2013Hey, Lamborghini execs... why the long face? Is it because your double-top-secret Veneno hypercar has leaked ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut?
This unidentified magazine scan has dribbled its way onto the internet, and the single image shows a radically designed coupe - even by Lamborghini standards - powered by the 6.5-liter V12 from the Aventador tuned to produce 740 horsepower, routed through the company's seven-speed single-clutch gearbox. The bodywork features exposed carbon fiber canards, asymmetric wheel wells, a massive rear wing, and all manner of vents and scoops, all combining for an outlandishly brutal look.
What does "Veneno" mean, exactly? It translates to "poison" in Spanish, but if the company's history is anything to go by, it must also be the name of a noteworthy bull in the history of tauromachia. What the car means to Lamborghini, however, is a celebration of the one-time tractor manufacturer's 50th anniversary.
