For sale is a Balloon White 2007 Lamborghini LP640 Roadster with NO RESERVE. The vehicle currently has 49,150 miles. A new clutch was installed at 44,600 miles. Car runs great and sounds even better with a custom exhaust set up. It sits on Forgiato ITO wheels, 20" in the rear and 19" in the front. No accidents but there is paint work on front bumper, side skirts and rear of car (wing on car when purchased - had removed). The car is well optioned with carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber interior package, Q-citura stitching, Carbon fiber engine brace. Removable roof is not shown in pictures but is complete and in front bonnet of the vehicle. This is a great no story car, just has more mileage than your average bull. Watch an Aventador, Viper and LFA play the songs of their people
Fri, 11 Jan 2013Our friends at Road & Track recently stopped by Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California, with the 2013 SRT Viper and found themselves a place to park between a Lamborghini Aventador and a Lexus LFA. Those machines might as well be the three musketeers of ludicrous exhaust notes, and rather than keep those 24 raging cylinders muffled, R&T set about conducting an orchestra of internal combustion. On seeing these three lined up, we were more than prepared to call the Viper victorious when it came to tickling our ear drums, but the latest domestic V10 sounds down right civilized in this company.
If we're picking favorites, we have to say the LFA takes the cake. There's something about the noise of a street-legal V10 that can wrap it's tachometer all the way to 9,000 rpm that turns our knees to quivering dollops of jelly. Check out the clip below for a listen. We shouldn't need to tell you to get frisky with the volume.
Lamborghini to price Urus similar to Huracan
Thu, 04 Sep 2014If and when the Urus project is finally approved for production, it will take Lamborghini into not one but several new territories. For one, it will be the company's first SUV since the demise of the LM002 in 1993. It'll also be the company's first front-engined model since the demise of the Jalpa and Espada in the late '70s, and its first model to offer hybrid and turbocharged powertrains in, well... ever. Just don't expect it to be its cheapest model.
According to Motoring.com.au, in speaking with Lamborghini sales and marketing execs, the Urus "will be priced similarly to the Huracán," which is currently the Raging Bull marque's entry-level model. That doesn't mean, necessarily, that the Urus (pictured above in Beijing alongside the previous Gallardo) couldn't undercut the Huracán's price slightly - especially since it will likely offer more than one engine option - but don't expect it to come cheap.
The Huracán starts in the US for $237,250. If, as reported, the Urus commands a similar price, that would make it the most expensive SUV on the market. That is, at least, before other high-end rivals from the likes of Bentley and Maserati get into the game.
