1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT coupe V-12 manufactured in Sant Agata Italy along with 399 other VT's over a four year period. This is an extremely rare car, and is one of the last truly authentic Italian Lamborghini's. This car only has 15,534 miles from new, which is 800 miles a year! This car has never been wrecked, and has 90% of its original paint (notwithstanding a coil fire years ago which required re spraying the engine cover and quarter). This Lamborghini has new maintenance in 2012 including new fluids, belts, hoses, all new OEM sensors (2 map, 2 phase, tps, 2 air temp, 2 water temp), new air aux. valve, and fuel pressure regulators, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and coils. The tires have plenty tread, the brakes are strong and the steering is perfect. The engine is very strong, sounds great and starts right up. No smoke or clattering. The transmission moves through all gears with no grinding and has a strong clutch. The interior has no tears and is supple to the touch. Sold as is where is without any warranty of merchantibilty. We can have listed on truckstop.com to have delivered in the United States, and will help with International shipping, but buyer pays all shipping costs. Admire 350 Lamborghinis lined up at 50th Anniversary Tour
Fri, 10 May 2013If you're a fan of Lamborghini then you'll want to set aside 13 minutes of your time for this video. The Sant' Agata carmaker is hosting a 50th Anniversary Tour from Milan to Rome and then back up to the factory in Bologna, and the 350 entries in this running of the bulls were staged on a Milan street. YouTube user Shmee150 is with the convoy and he spent the aforementioned 13 minutes walking among the field of glory that spans models from 1963 to now.
None of the cars were running so the video lacks the audio thrill of the supercars merging onto the M6 in the UK. As a virtual tour of Italian art museum showcasing a massive outdoor exhibit of Lamborghinis, however, it can't be beat. Don't hesitate to check out the video below.
Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo makes official debut at the Quail
Sat, 16 Aug 2014Racing fans, meet Lamborghini's newest track weapon, the Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo. Designed for the one-make Blancpain Super Trofeo series, the Huracán picks up where its predecessor, the Gallardo, left off.
Its engine bay is home to a ten-cylinder, much like the road-going Huracán. Unlike the coupe, the racer boasts 620 horsepower, up just ten ponies from the LP610-4. But - and as buts go, this is a big one - the Super Trofeo tips the scales at just 2,800 pounds, nearly 400 pounds less than the standard model, thanks to the removal of the all-wheel-drive system. That's right, this Lambo sends its power to the rear wheels.
Aside from the single drive axle, Lamborghini has upgraded the car's aerodynamics, offering gentlemen racers the option of ten different settings for the rear wing, as well as new front and rear diffusers and adjustable front air intakes. Lambo has also fitted specially formatted Pirelli race rubber, and gotten development help from the racing gurus at Dallara Engineering.
Watch this Koenigsegg CCX hit 211 mph on a runway, outpacing McLaren's P1
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Vmax200 in in England organizes events where those who care to show up with a supercar can run them down the two-mile runway at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. Evo attended the latest event, bringing an impressively green Lamborghini Aventador to test its girth and gaping vents against other precious metals like the McLaren P1 and F1, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Enzo, a Porsche Carrera GT and enough 911 Turbos to start a dealership. Speaking of those Porsches, nine of the top ten slots in the top speed competition are claimed by modified 911 Turbos.
A monochrome Swede ruled them all, though, a black-and-white Koenigsegg CCX setting fire to the speed trap run after run, hitting 211 miles per hour at its quickest. It was followed by, surprise, a 911 GT2 modified by 9E that did 210 mph. You can watch the EVO video below, GT Spirit has a bigger breakdown of the day, and we've included another vid showing the tandem launch of the CCX and McLaren F1.
