Of course it has Sirius XM Satellite radio, Heads-Up display, Dual-Mode Exhaust, plus a quality smartphone holder on the dash. Second owner & non-smoker. CERTIFIED MULTI POINT INSPECTION: This ZR1 has passed this 27 point inspection on tires, brakes, lights, etc from the Chevrolet dealer with all the light bulbs working 100%, plus a Ny state emissions & safety inspection , and has zero issues. UPGRADES: This auction is for the vehicle described on this page plus 2 additions of LIGHTING & 3M PROTECTION WRAP as follows: LIGHTING: upgraded aftermarket HiD (high intensity discharge) bulbs: Hi beams & reverse lamp & LED (light emitting diode): Front parking & blinkers, courtesy & fog lamps. 3M PROTECTION WRAP: Nearly the entire car has been wrapped in this revolutionary invisible protection system: Front bumper, hood, both front fenders, both headlights, both fog lights, roof, roof bow, both rear quarter panels & passenger side mirror. And this is a 'seamless' style wrap. MAINTENANCE: New OEM tires all around, Mobile 1 synthetic oil change October, 2013 TITLE: Original transmission malfunctioned at 3000 miles and a replacement couldnt be found for 90 days causing GM to buy back the car, install a new OEM transmission, and add lemon info to the title. I've had the car for about 15k miles and only 2 things went wrong: the catalytic converters and an ABS sensor, which the warranty covers 100%. Amelia Island 2013: Lamborghini celebrates its golden anniversary
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Lamborghini celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Geneva Motor Show with the introduction of the ultra-limited-production Veneno, but the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance had an even rarer Lambo on stage. Parked next to the all-new 2013 Aventador Roadster, Lamborghini displayed the world's only Miura Roadster from 1968.
It wouldn't be a Lamborghini display without the Countach, of course, but there were also some of Italian marque's more unique models, including a 1971 Espada, a 1969 Islero and a 1966 350 with its exquisite backward-bent A-pillars. Lamborghini North America COO Michael Lock was also on hand at the show confirming that two of the three Veneno models have been sold to US buyers.
Lamborghini teases engine sound, but of Sesto Elemento or Cabrera?
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Lamborghini has launched a website for something it calls the Hexagon Project. The mysterious page asks that you submit your email address, and then it gives you a taste of glorious V10 engine noise, with the message: "Listen to your instinct. Discover the roar of a new creature from Lamborghini. That will be just the beginning."
But where is that wonderful noise going to come from? Since we don't see Lambo launching a front-engined, front-drive minivan in the near future, we're guessing it'll be found in the back of some low-slung, edgy super car.
In our minds, that leaves two candidates. The popular opinion, perpetuated by our friends at Jalopnik, is that this is the engine for Lambo's Gallardo replacement, rumored to be called the Cabrera. This is a sound guess, although the naming of the site, Hexagon Project, makes us think that there's more to it all than just the Cabrera's new engine.
Chinese patent filing may mean Lamborghini Urus closer to production
Sun, 17 Feb 2013The Urus SUV still hasn't received the official green light for production, but that hasn't stopped Lamborghini from protecting its performance crossover in the land of stolen vehicle designs. These patent drawings submitted in China show what appear to be the Urus in the same concept form that we first saw last year at the Beijing Motor Show.
Last we heard, the Volkswagen Group had put development of the Urus on hold even though, more recently, the Bentley EXP 9 F (aka, the Falcon) has reportedly been given the nod. Although the existence of these patent images don't necessarily mean the Urus is going into production, they are at least another excuse to debate the SUV's stealth-bomber-style lines.
