Up for sale is my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, this vehicle was modified by Moab to demonstrate their supension and off road modifications for the SEMA show in Las Vegas in 2008, It is the best driving and handling Jeep you will ever drive, drives like a stock un- lifted Jeep.  I purchased this Jeep with the intentions of towing it behind my motorhome, I just never got around to it and honestly it just sits, Its time to let someone else have it!  It only has 18,000 miles as is absolutely clean as new, it has never seen mud, and generally has had a pampered toy life.  It is a V6 and gets great mileage has all the normal options including hard top, rear window defogger and wiper, it also comes with a soft top (the soft top does have a strap broken that will need to be re sewn.)  It has never been wrecked and has a clean car facts, blows cold air, everything works as new, needs nothing except a new home!  I do have it for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells locally.  Please feel free to call me at 501-772-2775 to inspect and or test drive.  I will help with shipping but that will be at buyers expense, I will work with whatever shipper you select, vehicle will not leave until funds have cleared my bank, I have title in hand.   Bid with confidence, if you are the winning bidder, meet the reserve and for what ever reason decide its not exactly what you hoped it would be,you will not be expected to purchase......ITS VERY NICE!

Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.

Chrysler uses Super Bowl spots to honor troops, farmers

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

How do you follow up such revered and successful ads as Chrysler's last two Super Bowl commercials? Imported from Detroit and Halftime in America should be given credit for giving the automaker's public perception a complete overhaul after its rescue from the brink with taxpayer money. What next, then?
We just found out during Super Bowl XLVII. This year Chrysler went with two commercials, one for Jeep and the other Ram. The two-minute-long Jeep commercial, called Whole Again, is narrated by Oprah Winfrey and presented as an open letter to the service men and women of America, simply expressing admiration for what they do - poignant message coming from a company whose history is so entwined with that of the military's.
The Ram commercial, called Farmer, honors the agricultural backbone of this country. Its soundtrack is a speech entitled "So God Made a Farmer" given by the famous radio broadcaster Paul Harvey, which plays over a slideshow of original photography commissioned by Ram. The images, of course, focus on farming and the people who do it for a living, and there's a few Ram trucks in there, as well.

Jeep Wrangler Mojo and Cherokee Dakar teased ahead of Moab Easter Safari

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Jeep has an annual tradition of debuting wild, new concepts during its Easter Jeep Safari, and this year looks to be no different. The automaker has already confirmed two of the six vehicles for 2014 - the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) and Wrangler Mojo. This year's event runs in Moab, Utah, from April 12-20.
There are no official details about either of the concepts yet - Jeep will release more info on the new models next week. Judging by the pictures, though, the Cherokee Dakar appears to be lifted with some knobby off-road tires. The Wrangler Mojo looks to have a bulging hood that might hide a more powerful engine underneath.
Past vehicles at the Easter Jeep Safari have included a Hemi V8-powered Wrangler, a classically inspired pickup and modernized Jeep Forward Control. Since this is the brand's chance to express itself every year, hopefully it has some more sensational concepts up its sleeve. Scroll down to read the little information that has been revealed about this year's models so far.
