Check the AutoCheck score in the pictures, it is excellent.
VIRTUALLY NO RUST. I have had a hand full of people come check the Jeep out, and agree that the Jeep is in Very Good Condition. (Kelley Blue Book)

Since I have owned it I have had almost $2,500 worth of parts replaced:
- New throttle position sensor
- New centrifugal water pump
- 4 new all-season extra large tires
- New exhaust manifold
- New front headlights

The last time the transmission and break have been checked was in 2011, and then they were in excellent condition. The last time I had an emission check done was around January 2012, and it passed.

As far as extra's are concerned:
- Ski/Snowboard hitch
- Bike hitch
- Bikini tops (Tan & Grey)
- Tow Package
- Rubber floor mats from "Husky"
- Steering wheel bar lock
- Spare tire lock
- Bedding (tan colored)

I brought the Jeep from California, all the original stickers are still on it.
It still has the original owner's manual and other paper work. The pervious owners and myself have kept all paperwork regarding tests and repairs.
There was an antitheft system installed according to one of the stickers.
There are some minor chips on the paint (see image of closeup of the front of the vehicle).
I have kept the original Californian license plates.
It has been owned by non smokers.
I bought this car with minor front right bumper damage, and coincidentally got into a minor third party accident in November of 2011, where the front right bumper was also scraped. The other person's insurance company spent a total of $3,000 on having the right body completely replaced;
- Front bumper rail
- Right front bumper extension
- Right front fender
- And more parts

The car runs perfectly! It is now in excellent shape. I am sad to have to sell it because I did invest a lot of time and money into the car, but I have to sell it because my education here in the USA is almost at and end and am planning to move back to Europe.

If you have any further questions about my Jeep, or wish to negotiate another price, please feel free to email me!

25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango SUVs recalled over brake feel

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Chrysler has announced that it is recalling over 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from several markets over concerns about brake feel under hard braking. The affected models are from the 2012 and 2013 model years, although the actual dates of production aren't available. 18,700 are in the US, while 825 are in Canada, 530 are in Mexico and a further 5,200 outside of North America.
According to a statement, Chrysler was informed of the issue by a component supplier for the Ready Alert Braking system, which primes the brakes in anticipation of an emergency stop. A component in the system was restricting the flow of brake fluid too much.
As Chrysler is quick to point out, the way the brakes functioned was in compliance with regulations and there are no reported cases of drivers losing braking power. Instead, the issue rests with what Chrysler calls a pedal feel that "was not consistent with customer expectations." So it would seem Chrysler is being proactive and fixing a problem not because there's a legal issue at work, but simply because it doesn't feel the way the manufacturer wants it to. Well done.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.
We'll let you know if the gang over at Jeep get back to us with any confirmation, but until then, head over to Jeep Garage to see the pricing details it has listed.

Jeep idles second shift it hired a month ago for 2014 Cherokee

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

In an unusual move, Chrysler is idling its recently hired second shift of 2014 Jeep Cherokee builders because, Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said in a statement, it already has built the "critical number of vehicles we need to stock dealerships once containment is released," Automotive News reports.
After the "critical" 9,430 Cherokees were built, the layoff was enacted so as not to strain the automaker's logistics partners before the Cherokee is actually released. Chrysler says the temporary layoff will last about two weeks, with 500 workers out of work and another 600 reassigned at the Toledo Assembly Complex where the sports utility vehicle was being built. The second-shift workers were hired on August 19.
Chrysler previously insisted that it would release the Cherokee to dealerships by the end of the third quarter, and it initially planned to start selling the SUVs in mid-August. Apparently the Cherokee needed a software fix before hitting showrooms, which is how Chrysler explains why the release schedule is out of whack. We're thinking that this software fix addresses the "powertrain calibration" issue that delayed the first media test drives of the model. According to the Toledo Blade, Chrysler has admitted it is doing "extended quality validation testing" but refused to provide more information.
