You are bidding on a 2008 Jeep Sahara "Mile High Limited Edition" this special Jeep is the only Wrangler offered with Leather. I purchased the Jeep New with 4 miles on it, it has been well maintained. It has a 2.5" lift and 20" XD Addiction wheels, the tires are 305/55/20 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ. It has new brakes and a K&N Intake. The factory "Infinity" Stereo system is helped out with a 12" subwoofer in the back. The Jeep has the Factory Hard top and comes with a Bikini top for the summer. The jeep is also equipped with LoJack.

Their is a small ding in the hood that has been there since it was about 2 weeks old, their is also some very mild scratches and rubs in the paint but are all very mild. The hard top has some cosmetic damage in the back, it was dropped the first time I removed it. The damage is on the outer lip on the drivers side rear and is only cosmetic and their are no leaks. The windshield is scheduled to be replaced this week so you will have new glass. It has never been in an accident and mostly garage kept.

This Jeep is not perfect, it has been to the mountains, although not a lot. It does have wear associated with its age but is in very good condition and as you can see from the pictures it is quite the looker!

Finding surfing spots in the UK is tough work, even in a Jeep

Sun, 06 Jul 2014

You truly have to love surfing to practice the sport in the United Kingdom. The area isn't exactly teeming with warm beaches full of sunbathers, and absolutely no easy spots to find big waves. To be a UK surfer, you need to be a fearless adventurer, not to mention quite lucky. And driving a Jeep might help, too.
Surfers Oli Adams and Micah Lester are traveling around the British Isles in a Jeep Wrangler Overland trying to find the best surf spots out there. These guys don't fit the laid-back surfer stereotype, but that's because finding waves in the UK is hard work. They say that the waves at some of these spots only exist for about three hours every year when the current and winds are just right.
To find these surf spots, the Jeep's offroad capabilities are paramount. In some areas, as you'll see in the video, there isn't even a beach, just jagged rocks. It would be like the movie Endless Summer, that is, if it could start snowing at any moment. These guys are clearly dedicated to their sport.

Jeep gunning for 1M sales this year

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Jeep CEO Mike Manley would rather soft-pedal the seven-figure prognostication for now, but Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne won't have it, proclaiming in an interview that Jeep will sell one million units worldwide this year. Manley has called that come-hither number "a stretch," the history of recent gains perhaps reason for his caution: in 2011 the brand sold 568,317 units, followed by the record-breaking tally of 701,626, then another record in 2013 with 731,565 units moved.
That kind of gap means everything will need to go magically for Jeep to record a 37-percent increase this year - amazing Cherokee sales, a brilliant launch for the little Jeep arriving in Europe later this year and a heavy wave to raise sales in US, European and Chinese markets. Manley is confident about the prospects in 2015, though, with the Cherokee in full stride, the Fiat-based Jeep on its way to the US and expanded global production. It's not as though Marchionne's prediction for Jeep's 2014 sales is unexpected, since he first made it last year. But even if the number ends up a little short for 2014, there's no doubt it will be impressive.

Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
