Its a 94, Iron Duke 2.5 4cyl with a 5 spd manual transmission. It has around 125K miles on it, and runs excellent! 4 wheel drive works great as it should, and has new 33 10.50 15 BF Goodrich All Terrains on the stock alloy jeep wheels. Jeep comes with a black hardtop that is in Great shape, and also the hard top halves of the doors(not shown in pics). Also has brand new yellow and black velour seat covers all around just recently installed, the old ones go with it too.. All of the typical frame rust has been repaired already about 2 months ago when I installed the lift kit.. It has a 4" Rough Country Suspension Lift with a drop pitman arm, a heavy duty steering stabilizer, N2.0 shocks all around, and all new yellow shock boots. Also has a new Sony Cd player in it, as well as new sony 4x6 speakers in the dash, and new 6x9 speakers and boxes in the back.. The tub on this jeep is in amazing shape! The only rust you will find is on the front fenders, and the windshield frame.. It needs the small transmission mount which is very easy to replace, And the drivers seat could use a little weld on the frame or replaced.. All of which is dirt cheap at a junk yard.. You have no idea how much this is killing me to list my jeep for sale, I LOVE IT WITH A PASSION, but I just blew up my boat and now it needs an engine and all kinds of work and that is more important to me.. Im only listing it for sale once, if nobody buys it im just going to keep it and fix the boat over winter..

Jeep is also for sale locally, so it might not make it until the auction is over, so far it has lots of interest, first one with the cash gets her..

Some Jeep Cherokees and Chrysler 200s to get standard stop-start in 2015

Automakers the world over are striving to find ways to make their models more efficient, and Chrysler has a solution for some versions of the 2015 Chrysler 200 and 2015 Jeep Cherokee (2014 model shown). The Tigershark 2.4-liter four-cylinder in the 200 and the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 in the Cherokee are getting a slight boost later this year thanks to the addition of Chrysler's Engine Stop-Start system as standard equipment. The company predicts modest gains - a three-percent improvement in fuel economy and a three percent reduction in CO2 emissions with the new tech compared to without it. While it's not much, those who sit in traffic a lot may see a difference.
Chrysler's stop/start system uses a high-speed starter motor to restart the vehicle in a claimed a third of a second. It works by detecting when the vehicle comes to a stop and turning off the engine. A more powerful battery maintains all of the model's accessories while it sits. When the driver lets off the brake, the car starts up again to drive away. There is even a button in the cabin to turn the ESS off, if desired.
The Jeep will be the first to receive ESS in the third quarter of this year to coincide with the start of production of the 2015 model-year version. The 200 will follow in the fourth quarter as a rolling change in production.

Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines

Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
