1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer offered for sale, with Sunroof.

$5,500

Black, Sunroof, Ice Cold AC, 132,000 miles

Offered for sale is a classic 4WD Black Jeep Grand Wagoneer with all the options, ice cold air conditioning, sunroof, power windows, (all of which are working). Vehicle was professionally maintained, and has never been used off roading or seen hard use. Another perk is you can insure this car as a classic car, and the benefit is insurance can be purchased for $150-$300 per year!

Current Mileage is 132,000. Interior/Exterior is great. Some minor damage to paint, and the rear tailgate wood grain is faded, but the vehicle is in great shape and was used as a daily driver until a few months ago so it’s a clean and classic ride. This is not a ragged out misused heap. If you are a looking for a weekend toy, daily driver, or a great foundation for a complete restoration, this Jeep fits the bill. This Jeep is not trashed, not abused, and is 98% original. A new radio has been professionally installed, and the front seats have been replaced, mirroring the original material and design.

Jeep has long been one of the kings of the off-road world, and the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was a welcome addition to the powerful Jeep fleet. A higher end model than the Jeep Wagoneer, the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer boasted a 5.9-liter V8 engine with 144 hp and standard 4-wheel-drive.

Comforts were not forgotten in the Grand Wagoneer, either. Air conditioning, power windows, a rear-window wiper, an overhead console and a cassette player all were standard in the 1989 Grand Wagoneer. There was also an optional sunroof available for those who need to see the sky while driving and interior space aplenty, either for passengers or cargo.

Owners of the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer were extremely happy with the SUV. They mostly agreed that it can drive anywhere in any weather. A common comment was that drivers feel safe behind the wheel of the Grand Wagoneer, probably because it was built like a tank.

WWII Jeep 'found in crate' set to cross Greenwich auction block

Thu, 30 May 2013

Fans of old military vehicles might want to pay extra close attention to the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance coming up this weekend. Crossing the Bonhams auction block on Sunday are a pair of seemingly flawless World War II Jeeps, which are both expected to fetch serious dollars.
Lot Number 305 at the auction is a 1945 Ford GPW Jeep that has been fully restored, which is expected to command between $35,000 and $45,000. Shortly after the Ford GPW, a potentially more interesting 1944 Willys MB (shown above) will be auctioned off, but Hemmings raises some red flags about this Jeep. First, it is claiming to have been "discovered in its original crate about 30 years ago," but there is no proof or documentation of any sort. Also, it is claiming to be all original, but it was given a paint job "shortly after it was discovered." Even with these questionable descriptions, this Willys could reach between $20,000 and $30,000. Head over to Bonhams' site and Hemmings for more information on both WW2-era Jeeps.

2015 Jeep Renegade

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

It's no secret that the midsize crossover segment is one of the most hotly contested battlegrounds in the automotive industry. Long have vehicles like the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 duked it out for those ever illusive consumer dollars. For many customers, though, even something like a Nissan Rogue is too big, whether in terms of price, fuel economy or just plain size.
For those customers, a growing market segment seems poised to fulfill their needs. Compact crossovers and tall wagons like the Nissan Juke and Kia Soul offer the high-riding driving experience with all the utility that comes from their two-box layout. It's an underrepresented segment among manufacturers, with big names like Toyota, Ford, General Motors and Honda lacking a true competitor.
To capitalize on this growing class, Chrysler's Jeep brand has readied this: the Renegade. That's right. Not Jeepster - Renegade. This diminutive off-roader, which rides on Fiat Chrysler's new small-wide 4x4 architecture, represents Jeep's first foray into the subcompact CUV segment as we know it, and it's making its official debut this week, on the floor of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Join us as we take a close look at one of Jeep's most important products in some time.

Jeep Wrangler likely to get aluminum body, will stay in Toledo

Mon, 27 Oct 2014

Perhaps more than any other vehicle currently for sale in the United States, the Jeep Wrangler is viewed by purist fans as a vehicle that simply must maintain the status quo. In this case, that means a body-on-frame design, solid axles, a relatively large engine sitting up front and a removable top. It's always been that way, and it always will be.
Maybe.
According to the most recent reports, the next-generation Jeep will continue to soldier forth with a full steel chassis underneath its stamped bodywork. The biggest change, reports Automotive News, will be that said panels will be hewn from aluminum instead of steel, a seismic shift of a transition not unlike what's happened with the new Ford F-150. Because it won't be a unibody, the SUV will likely continue to be assembled in Toledo, OH as it (almost) always has been - the latter has been a source of heartburn in recent weeks for the Northwestern city in the Buckeye State.
