Clean title Runs good Odometer reads 13K but has most likely rolled over once. The previous owner, an artist, did a complete overhaul on the motor and transmission and started restoring with a headliner and original Arctic Blue paint job. I just threw about $1000. in brakes, filters and stuff (Have receipts). This Original year 1963 Jeep Wagoneer is in a great position to be fully restored to its glory. I have the original door panels, but they are not in the best of shape. I am very honest and will show everything that I can about this vehicle. It is over 50 years old and not perfect, but she runs great and very solid. Jeep is located on Cape Cod and would like it to stay here, but limited space forces the eBay listing. If anyone is local, let me know if you want to take it for a spin. This is listed locally so I can end the auction at any time. I really want this to go to a good home. NHTSA closes investigation into Jeep Liberty fires
Sun, 16 Mar 2014The investigation that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened into the Jeep Liberty in October 2013 has been closed. NHTSA received two (!) complaints about fires starting in the driver's door, thought to be caused by the master power window switch. The initial estimate was that 80,000 Libertys could be roped into a possible recall, but according to a report in the Detroit News the agency examined records for 425,000 Chrysler products that used the same window switch, including the Dodge Nitro and Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
After canvassing 265 warranty claims related to the master switches, NHTSA concluded that the rate of fires compared to the "large population of vehicles" was rather low, and that there was no trend pattern behind the few issues it did find. Perhaps with that, and the closure of the trailer hitch investigation, the Liberty can finally rest in peace.

Jeep recalls 92k Grand Cherokee SUVs over electrical issue
Thu, 07 Nov 2013According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Chrysler is recalling 91,559 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs from the 2014 model year due to some serious electrical issues. All of the affected models were built between January 8 and August 20, 2013.
The NHTSA report states that, "Due to a disruption of computer communications and loose alternator ground wires, the affected vehicles may experience random illumination of multiple instrument cluster warning lights, loss of cluster illumination and loss of anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) function." The loss of ABS or ESC would greatly reduce a driver's ability to control the vehicle if things get squirrely, and since these failures would not be illuminated on the dashboard display, drivers would not be warned of the issue, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall is expected to kick off sometime this month. Chrysler will notify affected Jeep owners and dealerships "will update the ABS and instrument cluster module software and tighten the alternator ground wire," according to NHTSA.
