2012 Jeep Patriot Sport Sport Utility 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Cleveland, Tennessee, United States
This 4x4 Jeep is in excellent condition! A spotless interior with a beautiful exterior. There is a slight dent under the passenger side view mirror (practically unnoticeable). I kept the Jeep clean inside and out, and waxed it several times a year. The car lived in a smoke-free environment. I purchased the vehicle from Carmax in Chattanooga 1 year ago, and it has been taken extreme care of since. The 2012 Patriot is great on gas with 22/28 (city/highway). Features include (but are not limited too):
4 wheel disc brakes ABS brakes AM/FM radio Auxiliary jack Anti-whiplash front head restraints Brake assist Bumpers: body-color CD player Cruise control Driver door bin Driver vanity mirror Dual front impact airbags Electronic stability Front beverage holders Front bucket seats Front center armrest w/storage Front fog lights Front reading lights Ignition disable Low tire pressure warning MP3 decoder Occupant sensing airbag Outside temperature display Overhead airbag Passenger door bin Passenger vanity mirror Rear bench seats Rear beverage holders Rear cargo: liftgate Rear door bins Rear window defroster Rear window wiper Roof rack: rails only Speakers: 4 Speed control Split folding rear seat Tachometer Tilt steering wheel Traction control Variably intermittent wipers Local pickup only! |

Australian Jeep marketing stunt goes awry [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Jeep fans in Australia are none too happy with the off-road brand following a contest that saw ten new Cherokees sold for just $10,000 Australian (about $9,400), roughly a quarter of the vehicle's price Down Under.
The contest, called the "World's Most Remote Dealership," gave Aussies the chance to snag an ultra-affordable Cherokee Longitude (analogous to the US-spec Latitude trim), provided they could get to a secret dealership in the remote wilderness of western New South Wales, near the border with the state of South Australia.
In order to get the exact location of the dealership, though, potential customers needed to download an app, which would release a phone number 9:00 AM AEST on Thursday (7:00 PM EDT, Wednesday night). The first ten people who could call in and prove they could afford to finance $10,000 and get to the remote dealership, were given the location of the remote dealership.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.
