2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. 6.1 L Hemi, 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. This Jeep is fully loaded, sunroof, heated leather/suede seats, MP3, Satellite Radio, Back-up Camera, NAV, Aux Input, Ipod Connectivity, Bluetooth, Tinted Windows.
The 6.1 L Hemi, and all wheel drive turn this SUV into a rocket ship!! 12 second quarter miles from the factory.
I have owned this Jeep since late 2010 and I have ALWAYS meticulously maintained it. Oil and oil filter changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 full synthetic 0W-40. All fluids changed at 30,000 and 60,000 miles (front differential, rear differential, transfer case, transmission, coolant flush. I have babied and loved this car since I bought it, garage kept, washed at least every two weeks. Polished and kept clean.
I get ALOT of looks and thumbs up in this car, and it is FAST! Besides the viper this is the fastest car that Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler makes, don't believe me just look up the stats.
These Jeeps have been known to run forever, and the 6.1 L hemi if maintained properly will run forever, I have a friend with over 200,000 miles on his 6.1 L motor and still going strong.
I hate to see this beautiful car go, and dont need to immediately, but I am in the market for a boat, and I need a diesel pickup that will tow it around the hill country.
Feel free to email me and make me an offer, I will consider most of them.

Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
Chrysler resolves recall issue with NHTSA, will inspect, upgrade affected Jeeps
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Chrysler made big news earlier in the month by refusing a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty. Last week, NHTSA boss David Strickland countered by defending his agency's request for the recall of 2.7 million Jeep SUVs. Today marked the deadline for Chrysler to formally respond to NHTSA, and it seems that both parties have met in the middle with Chrysler inspecting and upgrading some of the affected vehicles without using the word "recall," which would constitute the admission of a defect; instead, Chrysler said that it is conducting a "voluntary campaign."
At issue on these vehicles is the positioning of the fuel tank behind the rear axle that could get damaged during a rear-end collision. NHTSA has stated that at least 51 people have been killed in rear-end collisions involving these Jeeps after the vehicles caught fire, to which Chrysler countered by pointing out that both models "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity.
As a compromise on the situation, Chrysler says that it will inspect all pre-2004 Grand Cherokees and pre-2007 Liberty models and, "if necessary, provide an upgrade to the rear structure of the vehicle." According to Automotive News, this upgrade will consist of adding a trailer hitch that will presumably better protect the rear-mounted gas tank. Vehicles already equipped with a factory or Mopar hitch will not be modified. Chrysler's official statement on the matter is posted below, but no additional information has been released, such as when the campaign will begin and how many vehicles could be affected.
Jeep Cherokee won't get diesel until sales of oil-burning Grand Cherokee improve
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Okay Jeep fans, you want more diesel options? Time to step up and prove it. The only way Jeep will offer a diesel powerplant in the Cherokee, according to brand head Mike Manley, is if sales of the Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel nearly double.
Currently, about eight percent of the Grand Cherokees sold feature the 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6. That's simply not enough to warrant the bringing an oil-burning Cherokee to the US market, despite the vehicle's presence in Europe, where it's sold with a 2.8-liter diesel V6.
"Cherokee is slightly different because of its weight and size. When I think about bringing Cherokee diesel here, I would like to see Grand Cherokee diesel get much higher than eight percent," Manley told Automotive News. "It would have to be in mid-double digits."
