2003 GRAND CHEROKEE WITH LEATHER POWER SEAT. THIS WAS MY SONS CAR ,SO I WILL DESCRIBE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE. THE BATTERY, TIRES, BRAKES, AND RADIATOR WERE ALL RECENTLY REPLACED. INTERIOR IS NICE FOR THE AGE BUT DOES HAVE SOME SMALL HOLES ABOVE THE DRIVERS SEAT AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. IT RIDES VERY NICE ON THE HIGHWAY. THE COOLANT LIGHT ALWAYS STAYS ON EVEN THOUGH IT IS FULL. THE DRIVERS DOOR IS KINKED AT THE SEAM. THE REAR DOOR MAKES A KNOCKING SOUND WHEN YOU OPEN IT. THE PASSENGER REAR WINDOW DOESN'T WORK. THE CAR IDLES A LITTLE ROUGH BUT NOT AT CRUISING SPEED. RUNS GOOD OTHERWISE. THE KEY NEEDS TO BE JIGGLED A LOT SOMETIMES TO ENGAGE THE IGNITION. IT PROBABLY NEEDS A NEW KEY CUT.
THE A/C AND EVERYTHING THING ELSE SEEMS FINE. IT IS A GOOD CAR FOR A YOUNGER PERSON OR SOMEBODY THAT WANTS TO FIX THE LITTLE PROBLEMS.
PRICED TO SELL.

GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
Chinese Jeep production confirmed with Fiat, Guangzhou agreement
Wed, 21 Aug 2013Fiat has just finalized a deal originally set up in January between it and China's Guangzhou Automotive Group to bring Jeep production to China. It remains unclear which models will be built, although we're wagering that it'll be the 2014 Cherokee. What we do know, now, is where production will take place.
According to Automotive News, Guangzhou originally wanted production to take place in its home assembly plant in its namesake city. Fiat has battled to send production to a joint venture facility established between Guangzhou and Fiat in the town of Changsha. The joint facility won out, and now the factory, originally built in 2010 with a 140,000-unit capacity, will see Jeeps rolling out of it.
Currently, the GAC-Fiat factory produces the Fiat Viaggio, a jointly developed product that is closely related to America's Dodge Dart. And while it remains unclear as to which model will join the Viaggio on the assembly line, that model is understood to ride on Fiat's Compact platform. The only Jeep to share those underpinnings is the new Cherokee, so there's not much connecting of dots needed to see why this scenario would make sense.
