95 Cherokee, inspected thru January 2014. Everything works except the Air Conditioner and the dome light in the interior. Car had both drivers side doors damaged and replaced about 8 years ago. The paint on the drivers side doors is faded and doesn't match perfectly with the rest of the car. No rust problems, Front brakes were replaced about 5000 miles ago, rears brakes are about 10000 since replace, muffler and tailpipe replaced 18 months ago. The jeep has a little over 5000 miles on it since the last inspection and there is nothing that I am aware of that will prevent it from passing clean. It's had the water pump and serpentine belt replaced two years ago and I replaced the valve cover gasket this past spring. This is a reliable car and has been well cared for and maintained. The tires will still pass inspection but are probably 85% used up but I am including 2 extra tires that still have close to 1/3 of the tread on them. For someone who wants good 4wd transportation this car is it.

Chrysler nets $1.6B income in Q4, Fiat profit up 5%
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Chrysler announced its 2013 financial results today and unveiled its new name and decidedly bank-like logo. Amid the announcement, Chrysler posted big gains in income, while Fiat didn't perform to analysts' expectations.
For 2013, Chrysler had revenue of $72.1 billion, up 10 percent from 2012. Net income reached $2.8 billion, a 65-percent increase. It was the company's third straight year of annual profits.
In terms of unit sales, Chrysler sold 2.4 million cars worldwide in 2013, up 9 percent. According to Automotive News, 1.8 million of those vehicles were sold in the US, a 14-percent increase. The sales growth boosted Chrysler's US market share to 11.4 percent, up 0.2 percent.
