I am selling my 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country. I have owned the vehicle since 1995 and am the second owner. It has 267,000 miles on it. I ran synthetic oil in it since I have owned it. It has never been wrecked. The truck has new tires on it that I put on earlier this year and cost over $600.00. It has new brakes, shocks, and I replaced the starter earlier this year also. I have also replaced the radiator. It has a K&N Cold Air Intake on it, Throttle Body Spacer and a gutted catalytic converter. The motor is strong still and does not smoke and has good compression in all cylinders. I also put a new windshield in it this year too. I also sent the ECU off to have it refurbished. The interior is in good shape with no rips or tears. I replaced the carpet and headliner in it a few years back and while I did that, I used dynamat in the doors, ceiling, tail gate and double layered the floor and added the dynaliner to the floor also. So it is pretty quiet for a jeep. I built a fake floor in the back and there is an amplifier that runs the six speakers in the truck. Now for the not so good news. . .the transmission is going out. It will drive but I can hear the pump and I know it's fatal. I do not want to sell this truck but I don't want it to sit. It's been a great truck and my kids grew up in it but I sort of have to stop putting money in it right now. I'll sell it for what I have it listed for and nothing less because it's worth more than that to me. If I can't sell it for what I am asking I will just keep it and work on it next Spring and keep it as a second car. 2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:

Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition coming to America

Jeep originally took the wraps off its Polar Edition Wrangler at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and at the time, we figured this would be a Europe-only affair. (Perfectly fine, since we US customers haven't exactly been lacking special edition Wrangler models over the years.) But now, and as Jeep says, just in time for winter, the automaker has announced that the ice cold Wrangler will be hitting North American showrooms in November.
Based on the Wrangler Sahara model, the Polar Edition can be had in either two- or four-door body styles, with a unique Hydro Blue paint job as the featured color. (Buyers can also opt for less-special Billet Silver and Bright White hues.) Other exterior enhancements include a body-colored hardtop, 18-inch gloss black wheels, the Powerdome (power bulge) hood, and unique decals all around the body.
But the Polar Edition isn't just about some paint and stickers. Jeep has fitted this Wrangler with a Dana 30 front axle and Dan 44 rear axle, as well as the Trac-Lok anti-spin electronic rear differential. Like all US-spec Wranglers, the Polar Edition uses Jeep's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both a six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmission are available.

YouTube tallies votes for this year's top five Super Bowl spots [w/video]

When we asked you to tell us which of this year's 16 car-themed Super Bowl commercials you liked best, you chose the Farmer commercial from Chrysler Group, advertising the Ram trucks, over Audi's Prom commercial in second place. Turns out the voters in YouTube's Ad Blitz poll agreed, voting the same commercial to the number one spot from among the field commercials in every category.
From there, however, they went in a totally different direction. Budweiser's The Clydesdales spot came second, Samsung's The Next Big Thing took third. The Jeep Whole Again ad scored fourth in the YouTube poll, fifth in our poll of auto commercials, and the Hyundai Team spot got fifth from the YouTubers, but ninth in our poll.
The voting results don't match up with the viewing numbers, though - while Farmer has more than 13 million views, The Next Big Thing is well beyond 21 million. You can read the press release below and see all five spots, lined up for you, one more time.
