1977 Jeep CJ7 in great mechanical shape. Body has some flaws. Has cracking paint behind both doors on the tub where the snaps are from a previous soft top. Paint is bubbling on top of passenger door. Have owned this jeep for around 10 years. This has been a weekend cruiser and not a trail rig. Has been parked more than driven. Has been out of my yard once in past year. Time to let it go. This is a great jeep with a lot of money invested. List of some features Elderbrock e-tec 350 chevy crate motor with 435 hp and 435 ft/lb of torque. ( Look it up under jegs or summit.- over 7k for motor) Choppy idle with flowmasters. Has not been abused. B&M shifter with reverse pattern, Stainless radiator hoses, MSD probillet distributor, High torque starter, HTC coated fenderwell headers, serpentine belt system, Warn 9k winch, Big Daddy rock gaurds, Shackel reversal, superwinch hubs, Detroit truetrac and Detroit nospin with 4:56 gears, Dual stick dana 300 t-case, 1 piece rear axles, 1800 stall convertor, G-men executioner 700R4 with manual valve body. Wheels are 15x10 mickey thompson simulated beadlocks with 35 mickey thompson mtz tires. Steering shaft, tierod and draglink have all been upgraded. Handles well on the highway. I have paperwork and receipts for everything done to this jeep. Will answer any questions. |

Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler wants mountains, not a stage
Wed, 20 Nov 2013We've said it before and we'll say it again - while we usually grow tired of the endless barrage of special edition vehicles, that isn't the case with the Jeep Wrangler. Every unique model we encounter seems cooler than the one before it, and this Willys Wheeler Edition is no exception.
The Willys Wheeler package is sort of a throwback to early Jeep CJ models, and wears "Willys" stickers on the hood. There's also a gloss black grille, rock rails to protect the side sills, and unique 17-inch black wheels wrapped in meaty BF Goodrich KM Mud Terrain tires. For proper off-road prowess, this special edition uses a Dana 44 rear axle with a limited-slip differential and a 3.73 final drive ratio.
Look for the Willys edition to hit dealerships early next year, starting at $25,795 for the two-door version and $29,595 for the four-door. Feel free to read all about it in the press release below.

Let's talk asses for a moment. What do they have to do with the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, you ask?
Well, we're here to tell you that this SRT can haul some. Lots of them, as a matter of fact: Jeep has increased the towing capacity of its most powerful SUV to 7,200 pounds. Assuming the average donkey weighs about 400 pounds, the Grand Cherokee SRT can haul ass to the tune of 18 burros, give or take a covered trailer or so, which is significantly more than it could in previous years. In 2013, the machine could manage 5,000 pounds, while the first generation was rated at just 3,500. The increase is mostly attributable to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and beefier rear axle, and it's a welcome update for those who'd like to use their SUV as, well, an SUV with an emphasis on utility.
Chrysler's Jefferson North plant builds 5-millionth SUV [w/video]
Thu, 15 Aug 2013Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant opened in 1992 for production of the first Jeep Grand Cherokee, but in the subsequent years, the Detroit plant has gone on to produce some of the company's biggest SUVs including the Jeep Commander and Dodge Durango. Earlier this week, the plant produced its five-millionth SUV, which, fittingly, was a Grand Cherokee.
Celebrating the plant's five-millionth unit, the silver 2014 Grand Cherokee was promptly donated to the USO. In addition to this milestone SUV, Chrysler also had a near-perfect 1993-95 ZJ Grand Cherokee on hand for the photo op.
