1971 Jeep CJ-5. This jeep is in excellent running condition and was an off the frame restoration from previous owner who was a jeep dealership mechanic.

It is mostly original aside from the fiberglass tub. Original Buick v-6 with 38k miles. Custom back bumper with CJ-5 stencil. Great sound system with cd player detachable face and large speaker under back bench. All gauges, wipers and heater work fine. Bikini top is new. I also just replaced the gas tank with brand new unit.

The only cosmetic issue is a tear in the drivers front seat bottom cushion (an easy fix) All other seats are perfect. Rest of jeep is incredible clean.

Mechanically the jeep is in excellent condition. the only issue is when in reverse and clutch is all the way out it shutters slightly Driving in reverse is no problem, the gear works fine but wanted to mention it.

Currently inspected in NY, this jeep is ready to roll and priced to sell. This jeep is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early.

Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers

For a certain cohort of young folks, Jurassic Park is a touchstone film from their childhood. Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines

Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
