Up for auction is a Running driving 1977 Jeep CJ7 (BATTERY NOT INCLUDED). This jeep needs work, frame is bad at rear spring hangers, body is rusted through in places, would need replaced or a bunch of sheet metal and patch work, also needs brake work. This jeep has a 258 6cyl t-150 tranny, dana 20 xfercase, model 20 rear end, dana 30 front end gear ratio is unknown probably 3.54 Jeep starts, runs, and drives, 4wheel drive works and feels tight in low and high range, tranny shifts smooth and all gears feel good . Jeep has a tilt stering column with power steering, some interior/exterior lights work some do not. This jeep sat for many years we changed the oil and disconnected fuel line from gas tank and placed a temp gas can in just to fire it up on good gas, it fired right up and sounded good, however wont idle on its own probably needs carb cleaned. Soft top you probably wont get back on once you take it off, notice break in back window, keeps out the weather though. Ran this jeep down a long driveway and went through all the gears and tested 4wd, all worked and felt good. Has a push button start. This Jeep with carb and brake work would be a good farm/ hunting/ plow jeep/ or you could start your resto project because all the parts are there as a parts jeep. PLEASE look at the pics closely, this is a running driving jeep that needs work, alot of work before you could put it on the road. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding, and keep in mind our feedback status as well as what we sell on ebay: 76-86 jeep cjs and parts, Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!

Jeep Cherokee finally dealer-bound
Tue, 22 Oct 2013We had our First Drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee last month, but it appears that prospective buyers won't have too much longer to finally get time behind the wheel of the new small Jeep.
Automotive News is reporting that after a two-month delay, Jeep dealers will finally start receiving their first shipments of the new Cherokee, in the next 10 days. A Chrysler spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the Cherokee is indeed on its way to Jeep dealers.
According to AN, about 23,000 Cherokees have been built since production commenced back in June, but potential powertrain issues forced Jeep to make adjustments to the Cherokee along the way. Automotive News says that in order to make sure there are no issues with the Cherokee before it reaches customers, it is testing each vehicle after it rolls off the assembly line at a rented test track near the vehicle's Toledo North Assembly Plant.

Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver is a more rugged Trailhawk
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We briefly mentioned the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver that was heading to SEMA last week when discussing the Mopar lineup set to be shown in Las Vegas. At the time, though, we weren't able to dive too deeply into details. But with SEMA in full swing, we were able to sneak over and grab some snaps of one of the first modified Cherokees we've seen. The Cherokee is, after all, kind of an unknown quantity in the modification department, being so new and featuring such a polarizing design. We were quite interested to see what Mopar could come up with.
Starting with the Trailhawk 4x4 and its 3.2-liter V6, the engine is fitted with a Mopar cold-air intake and a new exhaust, although it's not clear what sort of power boost has resulted. We'll admit, we were hoping Jeep and Mopar would get a bit more aggressive with the Cherokee's suspension (has anyone thrown a few-inch lift on the new Jeep yet?), but there's no mention of upgrades beyond the knobby, off-road tires. Those should do some good when the going gets rough, while rock rails are there to protect the Auburn Pearl paint on the body.
Speaking of that paint, it's complemented by an interesting graphics package in contrasting black and Crush Orange. The cabin sports Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with tech-friendly items like a wireless charging system for cellphones and wireless internet.
