2005 Jaguar XK8 Coupe Series 1, Phase 2B. Perfect Carfax-no paint. Only approximately 200 of these 2005 naturally aspirated coupes were imported. This car when new, was near $75k. This car represents the last of a breed of Jaguar sports cars that have the classic look...and genuine glass headlights. Todays cars are aggressive and somewhat sinister looking...this being the trend. The Phase 2 signifies 4.2 engine upgrade and 6-speed ZF transmission upgrade. The B signifies upgraded front nose with lower valance air inlet, rocker panel ground effects, larger and optional Atlas wheels, brushed aluminum bezels on instruments and shifter housing. *Note* This is a one year only 2005 production model.

Jaguar lets first outsiders drive new F-Type

Mon, 17 Dec 2012 16:31:00 EST

What do you do when you're an automaker with an all-new and brand-defining sports car, one of them with a supercharged V8 cranking out 495 horsepower? You let proven race drivers test them out on track and on the road.
And what do you do if you're Jaguar and you're in that situation? Why, naturally, you make a video of it. That's how we get footage of racers Martin Brundle, Justin Bell and Christian Danner being choppered into the UK's Snetterton track to test the V6-equipped Jaguar F-Type S prototype. Then when they're finished with kerb-lined apexes, they take the V8 S prototype out onto the roads to run it through hedge-lined apexes.
According to one of them, "very fast, very nimble, great engine" is what will soon be headed our way. Check it out in the video below.

Jos? Mourinho shares his fear in Jaguar F-Type R Coupe spot

Fri, 09 May 2014 20:00:00 EST

Jaguar is in the middle of an image makeover. It wants people to know that it makes more than just big, comfy luxury cars. Underneath that there is an edge. In its recent ads, the company wants to be associated with a more tailored, witty form of villainy. The next step is showing that it's also fearless.
Many Americans might not be familiar with José Mourinho, but he's one of the premier soccer, or football, coaches in the world. He's nicknamed "The Special One." Mourinho worked his way up from an assistant coach to lead small teams but eventually took over international heavyweights like Real Madrid and Chelsea.
In a new ad for the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Mourinho talks about what it means to be afraid. You might think such successful people overcome their fears, but successful men are driven it, he claims. But being scared doesn't make a man weak - it makes him dangerous. Scroll down to understand what Mourinho is talking about and get an earful from the wonderful exhaust of the R Coupe.

Wacky Jaguar crossover mule is a mind-blowing mashup

Tue, 03 Dec 2013 20:01:00 EST

As Jaguar prepares to introduce its first-ever utility vehicle, our spy shooters have captured this jacked-up XF mule out testing. While a production Jaguar crossover will surely resemble something closer to the recent C-X17 Concept, we can't help but think that the automaker could sell at least a few of these lifted, four-wheel-drive sedans.
Other than proving that Jaguar is hard at work developing this new model using a cobbled-together body, there are some details we can put together about this luxury CUV. For one it's about the same length as an XF, while the ride height is obviously taller and the tire track wider. We're not sure what the rig on top of this mule is for, but the whole car has us reminiscing about the old sedan versions of the Subaru Outback and the AMC Eagle (with a luxury spin, of course).
