Rare 1995 Jaguar XJR. First year Jaguar introduced forced induction to a production car to raise the legendary inline six to 322hp. I have owned this car for several years now and in that time I have done a complete head job with some mild cylinder head porting and all new timing components. The previous owner had all the shocks replaced with factory sport Bilsteins. All features on this car work as they should with the exception of the radio volume knob working erratically and the subwoofer requiring re-coning. I recently installed four new Sumitomo summer tires, I have a winter tire/wheel package to go along with the car. I have an extra set of foglamps. Last year I replaced the supercharger with a low mileage unit from LKQ (I will include old one with sale). There is some clear coat peel on the decklid and some minor rust around windshield. The windshield has a stone chip that does not really affect visibility. The driver seat shows some wear but is not ripped, I don't believe the driver seat heater works either. There is a modest 30hp shot of nitrous fitted (bottle is empty currently). My only reason for selling is the addition of another car and I just have way too many cars, unfortunately I can't keep them all. I don't want anyone to mistake this for a 100 point Concours show winner however this is a really nice almost 20 year old car that still shows nicely and has plenty of speed and style. Please e-mail for any specifics and/or questions.

Jaguar XFR-S is motor-porn on a mountain road

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S might have only been good enough to take the runner-up spot in our Editor's Choice top five debuts at the LA Auto Show, but we'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more exhilarating exhaust note. As proof of this, Jaguar released a video showing the XFR-S tearing up a windy, European mountain road in close to a minute of hardcore driving footage.
The big blue cat has the same great exhaust note of the XKR-S, and the driver puts all of the car's 550 horsepower to work demonstrating the handling - and drifting - abilities of the new XFR-S. If there's any disappointment to be had, it's the fact that you have to jump to the 30-second mark of the video for any of the action to start.
Scroll down to watch the video, and be sure your speakers are turned all the way up.

Wacky Jaguar crossover mule is a mind-blowing mashup

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

As Jaguar prepares to introduce its first-ever utility vehicle, our spy shooters have captured this jacked-up XF mule out testing. While a production Jaguar crossover will surely resemble something closer to the recent C-X17 Concept, we can't help but think that the automaker could sell at least a few of these lifted, four-wheel-drive sedans.
Other than proving that Jaguar is hard at work developing this new model using a cobbled-together body, there are some details we can put together about this luxury CUV. For one it's about the same length as an XF, while the ride height is obviously taller and the tire track wider. We're not sure what the rig on top of this mule is for, but the whole car has us reminiscing about the old sedan versions of the Subaru Outback and the AMC Eagle (with a luxury spin, of course).

Jaguar C-X17 gets liquid metal finish for Dubai show [w/poll]

Sat, 09 Nov 2013

We thought the C-X17 concept looked pretty good when Jaguar unveiled it in Frankfurt a couple of months ago. But that shade of blue, while nice enough, made it look like it shared more than a similar name with the Mazda CX-7. No, what a Jaguar needs is a more luxurious paint job than electric blue. And that's just what the British automaker has given its crossover concept in time for the Dubai Motor Show this week.
What we have here is the same C-X17, but repainted in what Jaguar calls "a lustrous Liquid Aluminum liquid metal finish," and we have but to agree. What do you think? Scope it out in the fresh batch of high-res images above and cast your vote in the poll below.
