Hello, I am selling my custom 1996 Jaguar XJ6. I inherited from a family member and have too many vehicles to keep. Beautiful paint job, runs and drives very nice. transmission shifts properly. all electronics work (have not tested sun roof), radio volume button is a little funny but works. wheels were refinished along with new tires. new brakes as well. heat works wonderfully. all windows work. windows are tinted dark, chrome is in very nice condition. UNDERBODY IS COMPLETELY RUST FREE AS WELL AS BODY. NOT ONE SPEC OF RUST ANYWHERE ON THE VEHICLE. handles and drives very nice for a 18 year old car. I am not a mechanic and I have stated everything I know about the vehicle. being sold as is. I am more than willing to help with shipping as well. I will only accept cash or certified bank check. I will not allow paypal because I really do not feel like paying fees. There are no dash lights on. whenever I drive this car I get nothing but compliments, it is a real head turner. if I did not have three other vehicles I would gladly keep it, however, I have no use for a fourth vehicle. I will accept a deposit through paypal. Jaguar XFR-S is motor-porn on a mountain road
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S might have only been good enough to take the runner-up spot in our Editor's Choice top five debuts at the LA Auto Show, but we'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more exhilarating exhaust note. As proof of this, Jaguar released a video showing the XFR-S tearing up a windy, European mountain road in close to a minute of hardcore driving footage.
The big blue cat has the same great exhaust note of the XKR-S, and the driver puts all of the car's 550 horsepower to work demonstrating the handling - and drifting - abilities of the new XFR-S. If there's any disappointment to be had, it's the fact that you have to jump to the 30-second mark of the video for any of the action to start.

Jeremy Clarkson's Jag going up for auction
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Fans of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson might want to make plans to be in the UK next weekend. On August 24, Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn is auctioning off Clarkson's black 1999 Jaguar XJR as part of its classic sale. According to the auction house, the Jag was "originally the daily drive" of Clarkson and has had one registered owner since.
Clarkson's former ride clocks in at 93,000 miles and has an estimated price of 2,500 to 4,000 pounds. At roughly $3,300 to $5,300 in US dollars, that could be quite a steal for a hardcore Jeremy Clarkson fan. And with a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and lavish interior, it's a luxury sport sedan lover's dream.
This isn't the first time Clarkson has crossed paths with Anglia Car Auctions. Back in 2009, he and fellow Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond made an appearance at another vintage auction to buy vehicles for a future segment of the show.
2013 Jaguar XF Sportbrake
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Editor's Note: Our reporter was anxious to get some time behind the wheel of the XF Sportbrake, even though Jaguar only had a very small window available for us to drive it. As a result, we weren't able to capture our usual original images to go with the Quick Spin story. Please accept our regrets, and Jag's lovely stock photography, instead.
The last wagon attempt from Jaguar was the X-Type, built between 2003 and that model line's unceremonious end in 2009. That X-Type and its legacy represent a real dog of a chapter for Jaguar, and for the Halewood factory where the barker was built. It was the final joke told prior to the brand's proper rebirth phase - a phase we're enjoying the heck out of today.
Current magnanimous Jaguar owner Tata can be thanked for this new wagon, the XF Sportbrake. Like all newness coming from Jag these days, this new wagon also feels lightyears more serious an offering, ready to compete squarely with established premium wagon makers across Europe. A Jaguar wagon in America is a far-off priority for the company, frankly. Still we deserve to know what we're missing for the time being from this (sometimes overly) cherished British firm.
