This is a 92 jaguar xj6 sovereign, grey leather interior with light color wood grain,4.0 liter with 159,000 on it. It has a remote start with a dei avital keyless entry and remote start, white, blue h.i.d.'s 6000k, pionner 9184bt head unit with Bluetooth, alpine custom fit type s 5 1/4's, Orion 600 watt 4 channel amp, a Polk audio twelve with a custom box with amp rack so you have maximum trunk space and can still remove your spare and an dc to ac converter built in to it to charge things or tailgate, and the car itself drives like a champion everything in it works except for the oil pressure gauge(and it's the sending sensor that's bad not the pressure itself, was tested), is going to need front brake pads, also right front strut needs to replaced but doesn't affect ride, and as you cans see in the pics small spots of clear coat are bad. There's a small spot on the hood, the roof, and trunk lid, there are a small rust spot on each fender, and the two wood trim that surrounds the air vent on the driver and passenger are peeling up and cracked. They are only four inch square. All parts that can be found easy and inexpensive. The ONLY reason I'm parting with it is because I have a 350z that needs some tlc (blew motor racing) and a miata that is about to get 3rd gen rx-7 motor. Need money. But this is definitely one of the most comfortable cars I've driven and still runs healthy as hell. I also reserve to end listing at anytime if car sells privately. Any questions just message me.

Watch this bad parker get what's coming to him
Fri, 02 Aug 2013If you're lucky enough to have a nice vehicle, do your fellow gearheads a favor and don't park like a clown. Seriously. Not only will you anger everyone who is trying to find a place to park, but your nice car is a billboard reinforcing the stereotype that car people are self-important and inconsiderate.
Take this gentleman for example. He has a Jaguar XK, and understandably wants to take care of it. Rather than parking it far, far away from any other cars and getting a bit of exercise by walking to his building, he takes up two spots (albeit barely) close to the structure. From the cameraman's narration, we can tell his coworkers are less than thrilled about his inability to stay between the lines.
Naturally, they wanted to teach him a lesson, so they parked a bigger vehicle as close to his driver's door as possible. Mr. XK's attempts to enter his vehicle are rather amusing, culminating in his climbing through the passenger side and scooching over to the driver's seat. While we can debate this sort of treatment all day long, it was effective. The video includes a follow up at the end showing where the XK driver parked the next day, and as you might guess, it wasn't in the same spot.
Jaguar may join the FWD, small-car parade
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Was it right for Chevrolet to detune the 1975 Corvette's base engine to 165 horsepower? Was Aston Martin wrong to make the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet? Is BMW crazy to be testing the new 1 Series with three-cylinder engines and front-wheel drive? It seems now, just as in the 1970s and 1980s, that emissions regulations and social considerations are driving some automakers to adopt unbefitting practices to maintain acceptance in the eyes of governments and consumers. Jaguar has jumped on the bandwagon, and is considering development of small, frugal, front-wheel-drive cars to help lower Jaguar Land Rover's average vehicle CO2 levels in light of tightening European emissions regulations, Autocar reports.
By 2020, the European Union expects the model range of every manufacturer to average 95 grams per kilometer, which is a new law passed by the European Parliament in April. Manufacturers who make more than 300,000 vehicles per year must meet these targets, and JLR is expected to be producing up to 700,000 vehicles per year by then. CO2 regulations after 2020 will only get stricter, as EU politicians already are talking about lowering CO2 levels to between 68 g/km and 78 g/km. (To put that in perspective, Autocar posits that driving a fully charged electric vehicle in Europe produces about 75 g/km when factoring in the power-generation infrastructure.)
Jaguar has some choices here, but so far they all have drawbacks. It could develop a new, compact chassis architecture for a line of compact vehicles, but the investment required for such a project could be prohibitively expensive. Jaguar has been looking into using the Land Rover Evoque platform for a small SUV, Autocar reports, but Land Rover brand manager John Edwards raises issue with such a plan, saying it may not be financially feasible.
Playmate of the Year Raquel Pomplun gets a Jaguar F-Type
Sun, 12 May 2013The Jaguar F-Type is slinking its way into vastly divergent corners of the celebrity world. Lana del Rey is its songstress, Englishman-playing-American-terrorist Damien Lewis lead its cinematic debut in Desire, San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick gets the athletic endorsement, and now it's just been driven behind the "Adults Only" doors at the Playboy Mansion: Raquel Pomplun was gifted a year's use of an F-Type for being named 2013 Playmate of the Year.
There's a video below of Pomplun and her F-Type getting 'camera ready,' and a press release below that in case you want to, you know, "read the article."
