Up for sale a beautiful survivor 1973 Series I Jaguar XJ6 in great condition. This vehicle just got a professional 5 coat new paint, was striped to the bare metal, resealed, primed, painted and clear coated to its original condition. There was no rust to repair on this vehicle, and was repainted only due to cracks and dull in the old paint on the car. The chromes are all original, nicely maintained and shinny. This car is a complete car as in its original condition.
This vehicle is a nice collector item that will turn heads anywhere in the world and its value only goes UP as it ages. I have an clean Florida title for this vehicle, issued back in 1977 and still have the bank lien satisfaction stamp on it. This vehicle well qualifies as an investment, or as a daily driver, or as a show rider.
This car had the cylinder head rebuilt approximately 2000 miles ago, a new head gasket was installed and new seals. Also got a new tune up done at the same time. All power windows are in good working condition. All gauges are in working condition excepting the clock. If anything this car needs, the driver seat took its toll as visible in the pictures attached. The car comes with factory installed A/C, compressor is in good working condition although blower motors are not.
This vehicle comes with its original 4.2L inline 6 DOHC engine, equipped with dual STROMBERG-ZENITH carburetors, backed by its original BORG WARNER 3 speed automatic transmission. With only 93000 miles this vehicle has a lot of life left. I drive the car daily for pleasure. This vehicle comes with newer matching tires, brakes are in good operating condition. All original books for this vehicle comes with it, along with a repair manual.
All lights are in operating condition.
The trunk is clean, equipped with a full size spare tire and all the original tool kit.
This vehicle stays straight on the road even at higher speeds and brakes are responding accordingly with no pull.
As with any classic cars there is no warranty I can provide and I have described the vehicle condition to the best I could. With confidence, I encourage potential buyers to have the vehicle inspected before bidding. I make the vehicle available for inspection at any time by appointment. I will not let you drive the car home to have it inspected but we can ride together or I deliver the vehicle for inspection to any mechanic shop of your choice, once an appointment is confirmed.
I will prepare the vehicle for delivery free of charge and will assist preparing for shipping worldwide, although I will not cover for any expenses for transport, duties, etc.
Florida residents will have to pay sales taxes additionally to the selling price. Also the title transfer fees have to be paid by the purchaser as I like to have the title transferred upon delivery (Florida residents only). There is no other hidden fees associated with this sale.

Has the Jaguar XKR-S Sportbrake leaked out early?
Sun, 23 Feb 2014Want to haul ass down the Autobahn with the whole family and all their gear in tow? Forget that Porsche Cayenne or Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 - what you'll want is a power wagon: something like an Audi RS6 Avant or Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Estate. Unfortunately there are precious few of these performance station wagons on the market anywhere, especially with American offerings like the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon on its way out and the Dodge Magnum SRT8 long gone. But there's a new challenger emerging.
That'd be the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a hi-po estate from Coventry that's been a long time in the making. And now it's apparently almost here. (Only by "here," we mean "there," as it's not likely ever to come to the United States.)
Apparently set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is a Frankenstein-style cross between a Jaguar XF Sportbrake and XFR-S performance sedan, taking the best elements from both. From the former, that means the extended roofline that gives it the cargo capacity of a small crossover. From the former, that means a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 542 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jeremy Clarkson's Jag going up for auction
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Fans of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson might want to make plans to be in the UK next weekend. On August 24, Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn is auctioning off Clarkson's black 1999 Jaguar XJR as part of its classic sale. According to the auction house, the Jag was "originally the daily drive" of Clarkson and has had one registered owner since.
Clarkson's former ride clocks in at 93,000 miles and has an estimated price of 2,500 to 4,000 pounds. At roughly $3,300 to $5,300 in US dollars, that could be quite a steal for a hardcore Jeremy Clarkson fan. And with a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and lavish interior, it's a luxury sport sedan lover's dream.
This isn't the first time Clarkson has crossed paths with Anglia Car Auctions. Back in 2009, he and fellow Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond made an appearance at another vintage auction to buy vehicles for a future segment of the show.
Jaguar-based Eagle E-Type Low Drag GT makes its bid for most beautiful car ever with EVO
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The Jaguar E-Type is one of the icons of automotive design, and British company Eagle has made a business out of restoring, upgrading and building their bespoke versions for the last 30 years. It does for the E-Type what Singer does for the Porsche 911 - takes an already great classic car and updates its mechanicals for the modern age.
The firm's latest creation, the Low Drag GT, might be its greatest ever, at least according to editor Henry Catchpole in Evo magazine's latest video. The car takes its inspiration from a trio of low-drag E-Type coupes built in the 1960s, but thoroughly modernizes the concept. The engine is based on Jag's inline-six, but made from aluminum and bored out to 4.7 liters to produce 346 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque. Catchpole says it's enough to propel it to 60 miles per hour in about 4.5 seconds. The body, transmission and differential are all also made from aluminum to cut the weight to 2,288 pounds, and modern upgrades include Ohlins dampers, AP Racing brakes and even extras like concealed GPS navigation and an Alcantara headliner. There's more head- and legroom than the originals, too.
Each car is built bespoke for each buyer, so prices vary, but Catchpole says the one he is in would run about half the cost of a LaFerrari - around $700,000.
