2013 JAGUAR XJ WITH PORTFOLIO PACKAGE, ILLUNIMATION PACKAGE, 20" KASUGA WHEELS, EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE ON THIS CAR. HEATED AND COOLED SEATS, ETC. MASSAGE SEATS, HEATED STEERING WHEEL, HEATED MIRRORS, HEATED WINDSHIELD. HEATED REAR SEATS. THIS CAR IS LOADED, LOADED, LOADED. I am technically the 2nd owner, BUT, the first owner is the owner of the jaguar dealership in Bellevue wa and he titled the car in his name for his daughters wedding and put just over 100 miles on the car, then I bought it. I am only selling the car because I need the money for a down payment on house. There is nothing wrong with the car, paint like new no door dings, no scrapes, etc. The only thing that keeps the car from being dead showroom mint is a small ink spot on rear leather seat, very small. The car will be in Seattle wa by July 2 and will remain there until sold. Car is currently registered in California. Jaguar wants to make real-life driving just like a video game
Thu, 10 Jul 2014Jaguar Land Rover is on a bit of a tech bent today. It's announced its new family of four-cylinder engines and a "self-learning" vehicle Range Rover prototype, and now it's announced what it calls the Jaguar Virtual Windscreen.
The technology is similar to other head-up displays and telematics recorders already on the market, the Jaguar Virtual Windscreen concept takes things to the next level to turn real-life driving into a video game-like experience. It's being demonstrated with data like lap times, grid positions, virtual racing line and brake guidance... even "ghost" cars from previous laps and virtual cones for simulated autocrossing. Just like you'd find in the latest version of Forza or Gran Turismo, but you know... in an actual car - in this case a Jaguar F-Type. It's similar to the Transparent Bonnet system Land Rover revealed a couple of months ago, but instead of rock-crawling, it's for the race track.
The system also incorporates gesture controls and could be configured to display instrument data, a video feed from a rear-view camera to replace the mirror. Check out the details and the video below for a closer look at what JLR has got in store for the near future.
Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
