The luxurious sliver Jaguar X-type. Four doors, 81k. Never had any mechanical problems. Customized pioneer talking navigation system . This navigation system not only can search addresses anywhere in the United States but it also can store address, telephone numbers, and recent addresses visited. In addition, it can search the area for gas stations, banks, bars etc.. Moreover, it plays CD and DVDs. The system was customized to specifically fit in the jaguar, so it has a very sexy appeal. The car looks brand new, it contains black leather interior, woodgrain dash board. It drives like new, and I have taken great care of the car. It has some minor unnoticeable scratches. Outside of that there are no other dislikes. It has been recently maintenance, on-time oil changes, and tires are relatively new. I'm a non smoker so car smells pretty good. Jaguar confirms 575-hp F-Type Project 7 for Goodwood debut
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Two days ago, Jaguar announced it had something special in store for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Then yesterday images of that special creation, the F-Type Project 7, leaked out. And now, as promised, Coventry has released the full details on the ultimate F-Type to date. And its even better than we expected.
The production version of the concept revealed last year, the F-Type Project 7 celebrates the 60th anniversary of the D-Type by borrowing some of that legendary roadster's design cues, right down to the rear fin and British Racing Green livery with white racing stripes.
Of course the Project 7 is more than just a retro appearance package. The bespoke speedster packs a version of Jaguar's prolific 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 575 horsepower - 25 more than the F-Type R Coupe - to make it the Leaping Cat marque's most powerful production car to date. Mated to Coventry's familiar eight-speed automatic transmission, that's said to be enough to propel the Project 7 to 60 in 3.8 seconds en route to an electronically limited top speed of 186 miles per hour. Keeping all that power and pace in check and on the road are such features as carbon ceramic brakes, a full complement of carbon-fiber aero components, electronic differential and brake-based torque vectoring system.
Jaguar C-X17 crossover concept revealed, hides new lightweight aluminum architecture
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Just as Jaguar teased earlier this month, the luxury marque is debuting its first-ever sports crossover concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, which begins this week. In addition to previewing what a soft-roading Jag might look like, the C-X17 concept also showcases the brand's new advanced unibody aluminum architecture, which it calls the future of its brand.
The British automaker touts the new technical foundation as high-strength, lightweight and extremely stiff, and notes that it incorporates sustainable technologies such as a high-strength alloy made from recycled raw material. The architecture's flexibility means Jaguar will be able to simultaneously manufacture several vehicles on the same production line - a change that will ultimately help the automaker grow its product portfolio.
Indeed, if the C-X17 concept sees production, it would represent a completely new direction for Jaguar, which has previously focused on luxury sedans and sports cars. However, while Jaguar says a range of future models will be built using the new architecture, it hasn't yet mentioned a crossover. The first model to be built on the new underpinnings will launch globally in 2015, and it's - you guessed it - a premium midsize sedan.
