VERY well maintained NON SMOKER garage Queen! OK garage Queen until that German came along! (Wife bought a Mercedes, so the Jag is out!)
(OK we can not vouch for previous owner, but all indications are that they too did NOT smoke in this car! My wife has had it four years and she does NOT smoke ...) This All Wheel Drive, British Racing Green Jaguar X-Type 3.0 has all leather and wood interior, huge trunk, fold down rear seats make that huge trunk nearly a pick up! The AWD and Stability Control make this handle like a dream! This car is LOADED! I will not list all the features, but you can easily read about the X-Type. It is a very sweet, well equipped ride! Cruise control, all leather and wood ... Recently replaced TRANSFER CASE carries a 12,000 / one year Jag warranty! Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.
Jaguar recalling XK Convertible and XF 2.0T sedan for unrelated issues
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that it will be recalling 1,989 XK Convertibles produced between October 1, 2010 and August 1, 2013. Model years ranging from 2011 to 2014 are part of the recall.
The issue has to do with one of the switches the switch that controls the opening and closing of the convertible top. The switch also has to do with the operation of the power windows. According to the Feds, the switch doesn't move down to close the power windows, meaning that the window could accidentally close on the finger or arm of an inattentive person.
In related news, Jaguar is also recalling 940 2013 XF sedans powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for a hose that can detach underhood, which could cause the engine to stall or could leave the driver without power steering or brakes.
Jaguar XE spied flying over London
Mon, 08 Sep 2014We only have a few hours to wait before Jaguar finally, and fully, unveils its oft-teased XE sedan. But the Internet is no respecter of secrets, as these very last-minute spy shots make clear.
Presumably being airlifted to its spectacular debut location near Earl's Court in London, the BMW 3-Series-fighting XE was captured mid-flight, and completely undisguised.
The images are understandably a bit blurry, but they do confirm that DNA from the current Jag lineup is transitioning nicely to the new small luxury sedan. The XE shows a stance typical of the brand, with a relatively short rear overhang, and big, boldly styled wheels. The bluff front end is reminiscent of if the XF and XJ, and, as we know from earlier teasers, will wear a "growler" logo over a black grille.
